Not mentioned here, but included in broadcast reports is the connection to the assassination of the Oakland Post's Chauncey Bailey, yesterday.

Hmmmm...are they going to force them to remove their cart from Oakland Airport now, where it currently resides past the security gates? Or would that be racist? ;)

They shot a newspaperman?
Don’t they know that this is the one way not to get favorable coverage from besotted liberals?

Isn't there usually a massive police presence at bakeries, particularly at donut making time?
;0))

Also, longtime Oakland journalist Chauncey Bailey was reportedly researching an investigative piece into Your Black Muslim Bakery before he was shot and killed Thursday morning.

Funny. You never hear about reporters investigating allegations against Mennonites getting shot and killed in a horse-and-buggy drive-by. I’m just sayin’.

my rough summary from channel 2’s story just now:
major investigation going on for a year, YBMB just one of four places raided, yuseph bey arrested, 19 people in custody related to 3 homicides in the past 3 weeks, firearms, ammo, shotguns recovered, possibly also related to shooting yd of newspaper guy Bailey who was writing about $ troubles at YBMB

Are these the same fine citizens that were beating up liquor store owners in Oakland?

If the police presence is related to yesterday’s assassination, it is not the first linked to the Black Muslims in Oakland. Not to mention the attack my members of the group on Yemeni liquor store owners about a year ago.
Black Muslim leader is slain in Oakland
Oakland Tribune, Oct 26, 2005 by Susan McDonough, STAFF WRITER
OAKLAND — A son of controversial Black Muslim leader Yusef Bey was shot and killed Tuesday night while pumping gas at a North Oakland station.
Antar Bey, 24, was at the gas station at 55th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way just after 7:30 p.m. when he was shot as he waited to fill up his black BMW 745, police said.
Police said Antar Bey, the appointed successor to the late Yusef Bey, had stepped away from the car and was talking on his cell phone when he was shot. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

Are these the same fine citizens that were beating up liquor store owners in Oakland? Yes, that's what I heard on the radio this morning.
