Old enough to drink beer with Bill Clinton in Oslo, Norway and have my girl friend introduce me to her friend Timothy Leery.

Watch out, you just might find yourself getting a visit from “FOX security” or even finding the O’Reilly finger of justice pointed in your face. </sarc>

I guess I am a victim of the age of typewriters. I have always double-spaced after a period. I never knew people were single-spacing. After reading your link, I am stunned. I am not sure I will be able to break the habit of double-spacing, even though the convention has gone out with the—er—typewriter.

So long as you’re not walking over to the t.v. to change channels or adjust the volume... :)

I don’t. However I bet most of O’Reilly’s target audience does. If they not using the TV to change channels and adjust volume, they are using the remote which they still call the “Clicker.”
What amuses me the most is that O’Reilly did one thing that should set off some fire works. He asked his viewing audience to check out the Daily Kos upon finishing his exchange with Dodd. Wait and see what happens when his viewers experience the culture shock of the Daily Kos. They will wish things were back to the days of the test pattern.

I just saw O’Reilly complain that FR does not have a constant moderator
To: DesScorp
Even my wife was ready to switch off O'Reilly for good the last few nights. We've been watching the puke-fest with the depiction of FR as a "Hate Site". She's an avid "Glenn Beck" fan these days, moreso than O'Reilly, and I think O'Reilly lost a viewer last night. Bill O'Reilly, I hope you hear this, she said she's going to watch an old Brasilian soap opra translated to Spanish instead. Those are considered forms of torture in some nations. Guess where your credibility stands in comparison? And she is one of the most good and decent people you could ever hope to watch your show.

I’m a double spacer as well. There’s no way I can break the habit now—I’ve been doing it since middle school.

Ill have to take your word for it. I stopped watching BOR a long time ago.
I gave up on listening to the talking heads both tv and radio a long time ago also. I don’t think I’ve missed a thing either. Too many other places to get the news without their one sided view.

BOR is going the way of “the Big Mouth” Morton Downey Jr.
He seems to be losing it more and more each day.

O’Reilly invites folks of all types, middle of the road, extreme, bomb throwers, you name it. The idea, like it or not, is to generate debate, discussion, and critical thought, and NOT just at the studio but out here in the land. So he invited Dees. BFD.

Showing a movie clip seems to be a new thing on Fox. In a story about astronauts getting drunk, Geraldo showed a clip from “The Right Stuff”. Fox News has jumped the shark into tabloid silliness 24/7.
