When Bill O'Reilly hosts a web-based forum of this size and demonstrates that no improper remarks are ever posted to it, I'll listen to whatever Bill O'Reilly has to say about FR.

Until then, he's just the same old ignorant windbag he's been all along. He's the reason I don't even bother with Fox News anymore. If they're going to support slander against FR, I'm not supporting them -- or their sponsors. The WP/LAT once tried going after FR and now Fox News is doing the same through their stooge, O'Reilly.

Here’s the thing: I always wonder why people want to think BOR is setting himself up as a conservative. He has never claimed to be a conservative. He has always claimed to be an independent.

So, being mad at BOR because he isn’t a conservative seems dumb. Be mad at him because he lacks integrity. Be mad at him because he’s an opportunistic blowhard. Be mad at him because a large percent of the time he comes off as an idiot that doesn’t have any idea of what he’s bloviating about. Be mad at him because he is a popinjay.

But there’s no reason to be mad at him because he turns out not to be something he never claimed to be.

The transcript of O'Reilly's own show proves that, on July 31, 2007, Bill O'Reilly, himself, spoke these hateful words:

"Homosexuals are dogs."
"I hate blacks."
"Hillary Clinton should be assassinated."

O’Reilly is a windsock. His “positions”—which waver in the wind—are based on opinion polls so he can pander to his audience. He has come out against the Iraq war and he endorses gay marriage and gay adoption. He kissed Rosie O’Donnel’s butt when she came on his show and he sucked up to John Kerry. I would like to see someone like Ann Coulter or Rush Limbaugh, both of whom are much more informed, polite and articulate, replace him.

His show is inspired by his own personal culture war. Does it really hurt your feewings when his judgements are different from yours?

Can you name one other TV figure who has done more to protect children than he does with his Jessica's Law campaign?

Don't you appreciate that there are several judges who are no longer able to let pedophiles off with weak sentences thanks to Bill O'Reilly and Bill O'Reilly alone?

Predictions of Bill O'Reilly's demise are silly and make freepers look foolish.

Let's not forget, Michelle Malkin fills in for Bill on a regular basis and he has the nads to face Ann Coulter regularly.

There's plenty to disagree with Bill about in a reasonable, clever, sarcastic and humorous way, but this thread has disintegrated into something far too embarrassing to be on a Patriots forum like freerepublic. Freerepublic isn't a hate site and sure doesn't deserve to be compared to the Daily Kos, but this isn't the way to go about defending Jim Robinson or his website.

I missed the O’R show tonight..house guests...and so I don’t know what was said on that show regarding any emails from Freepres. I was just thinking...if all Freepers sent emails his way his ol’ mail bag might be shut down...not able to handle all the “hate mail” I say this with tongue in cheek..we aren’t hateful...but guess he thinks we are.

deliberately misled people
or
doesn't do his own research
or
can't read English.

I'm beginning to think that someone at the Factor set O'Reilly up for a fall.
