I’ve offered that solution several times myself.
Let’s try another example: Suppose the Aryan Nation boys manage to hijack a Minuteman warhead up there in Montana and somehow or other they manage to get it to Red Square and detonate it ( all 335 kilotons ). Would it really be in Vladimir Putin’s best interest to nuke Jerusalem and Rome because they are sacred to Christianity ???

Actually you know, you wouldn’t even have to drop a explosive device, you just use another kind of bomb on their Holy Sites.

I disagree greatly. That action would leave the infrastructure of the countries that harbor the terrorist intact. They would then redouble their efforts to harm us and using the bombing of holy sites as a central plank in their rage. The way to hurt the bad guys is to use decapitating strikes against the governments and the infrastructure of the nation or nations. Take out the petroleum distribution systems, electricity, and seaports. That nation state would then collapse. The death toll from the strikes would be fairly small. The death toll as the infrastructure collapses would be horrific. Starvation, and disease would kill millions.
Oddly enough a country such as Afghanistan would fare well. Their farming is not highly mechanized and dependent of petroleum and is irrigated from valley streams. A country such as Iran would be devastated due to its dependence on fuel and electricity to farm and bring food into the central cities, Tehran in particular.

Maybe we need to change our ammo & bomb charges...maybe we need to use pork-impragnated ammo and pork-loaded bombs, rockets, etc....I love it, give the enemy a free meal of pork-loaded munitions...great for our pig farmers...great for Al Qaeda moral demoralization...and cheaper ammo for us.

The bigger point is, Japan did not surrender. If we popped a big nuke in Saudi Arabia at Mecca, even during Hajj, Islam would not surrender.
Medved used to have a guy (Mordechai Levy?) on who was an Israeli intel expert. His wife was a coptic who translated Islamist broadcasts.
He claims the mullahs believe that Allah is more powerful than our god, and that they intend to nuke Jerusalem to prove it.
He says that if we nuke Mecca first, they will realize their god is a phoney, and throw in the towel.

We need to save a few biggin’s for Iran, because until those nutjobs realize that when push comes to shove, they lose...we need a couple biggies for their nuclear program! I’m 64 years old and would be perfectly happy to grab my guns and march on Iran to save my grandchildren, but we do have the ability to tell those nutjobs that if you develop a nuclear weapon cabable of threatening world stability, we will turn Iran into a glass parking lot!
I say nuke Mecca and then tell the Muslim world...get over it, we have more!
