I worked at a Coast Guard motor pool where candy was being stolen from a vending machine. CGI set up a camera to catch the culprit and it was a squirrel.

Those were the Princess’ most favorite chocolates when we lived in Germany. The Easter Bunny always delivers some to her basket (thank goodness for www.germandeli.com).

No kidding here Fellow Freepers: any suggestions on how to keep squirrels from tearing up your lawn? I have lots of trees out back and they come down to the yard and dig four inch holes in the lawn. Can’t hunt them or even touch them here in Virginia: what can be done other than run the sprinkler?

Thanks for the suggestion but YOU CAN’T TOUCH OR TRAP THEM: even pest services CAN’T TOUCH OR TRAP THEM. I’m afriad to even use the hose on ‘em (but I would imagine they would jump pretty high if you zap ‘em in the butt — just imagining though).
It’s a war where I can’t fight: ugh!
