I received an e-mail today from the Fox News producer who booked me for the O'Reilly Factor last night. The links have been forwarded to Jim Robinson for review.
Jim asked me to start a thread with the links so that Freepers, and everyone else, could see for themselves what the fuss is about.
The Hillary Clinton stray bullet assassination comment was a very bad joke comment that someone posted two days ago. It was flagged last night after the O'Reilly Factor broadcast and was removed by a moderator. It is available for the time being in Google cache:

The next day the dow goes up 2000 points and closes at 2150.

Don't even bother trying to defend that one. Assassination jokes have no place on Free Republic. Yes, Cindy Sheehan has written of her fantasizies about killing President Bush--and she's not joking, but that's her problem. We're better than that.
The "homosexuals are dogs" comment is taken out of context. The actual quote is "Homosexuals are the modern day dogs in the manger." That was in reference to an article about proprieters in the U.K. not being allowed to deny hotel accomodations to homosexual couples on account of religious belief.
The American Heritage online dictionary gives this description for the phrase: dog in the manger, NOUN: Inflected forms: pl. dogs in the manger. One who prevents others from enjoying what one has no use for oneself. ETYMOLOGY: From a fable in which a dog prevented an ox from eating hay he did not want himself.
That comment was posted two days ago and has also been removed by the moderators. It is available for now in Google cache.
The "I hate blacks" comment was nowhere to be found in the other threads referenced.
The threads are about crime in the black community, gangsta culture and Jesse Jackson. Two of the threads are in the Smoky Backroom.

There is a very simple test to see how racist FR is. Given a choice between a black conservative and white leftist for any position who would we vote for? Content of character over skin colour 24/7 is what I think would guide most of us.
I don’t really know whta the big deal is here- sure- hate speech is vile- but my goodness, Bill O had to scour this site just to come up with some obscure references taken out of context while Daily Kos ALLOWS vile hateful speech ALL DAY LONG on their site-
I personally wouldn’t be apologizing to Bill or anyone else for that matter for the fact that a few comments made it past the moderators who do an excellent job here keeping the hate off the site- and personally, I think Bill O needs to give an on air apology for falsely slandering this site AND for doing VERY sloppy investigation and reporting on the matter- Had he taken the time, he CLEARLY would have seen that this is so far from being a hate site that he should not be badmouthing it or scolding ANYONE here, but should be defending this site for all the good it does this country and for the services it provides free of charge and for good will..

My only experience in hitting the abuse button was a couple months ago for some clown who advocated assassination. Took the moderators about two NY minutes to clear that crap up! Too bad BOR doesn't have moderators of the quality we have on FR! Perhaps they could watch realtime and clean up pre-broadcast before he makes a fool of himself!

Apparently Fox’ evidence standards have gone down significantly. Makes you wonder how flimsy the rest of their news gathering is??
One made up out of thin air and 1 off color joke and he claims it is a hate site. Oh’Really Weak! I’ll never buy another one of his books if that is his idea of proof.

Drudge had posted the news that O'Reilly was starting a radio show and it was believed that O'Reilly thought that he could take on and defeat Rush.
O'Reilly denied that he was starting a radio show.
Drudge persisted even stating that O'Reilly was paying stations to take his show.
For days O'REilly had some pretty nasty (hateful?) things to say about Drudge -- then there was that Imus show statement that someone should kill Matt Drudge. O'Reilly's emphasis.
Shortly after that he started his radio show.
O’Reilly went bonkers on Jane Hall last week because she said there was hate remarks on his site. He called her an out and out liar. He said “We removed anything hateful.”....or something like that. He was POs big time, had that nasty face going on that he gets.
