I received an e-mail today from the Fox News producer who booked me for the O'Reilly Factor last night. The links have been forwarded to Jim Robinson for review.
Jim asked me to start a thread with the links so that Freepers, and everyone else, could see for themselves what the fuss is about.
The Hillary Clinton stray bullet assassination comment was a very bad joke comment that someone posted two days ago. It was flagged last night after the O'Reilly Factor broadcast and was removed by a moderator. It is available for the time being in Google cache:
To: Virginia Ridgerunner I like my scenario better:
After eight years of the economy faltering, interest rates are 19%, 900,000 people are dead in Iraq since we left, taxes have gone up by 60% and Chile, Bolivia and Columbia are now Communist regimes, a stray bullet at a NARAL rally catches President Clinton and kills her.
As they take away Cindy Sheehan she screams why did she have to remove the troops? We were winning.
The next day the dow goes up 2000 points and closes at 2150.

Don't even bother trying to defend that one. Assassination jokes have no place on Free Republic. Yes, Cindy Sheehan has written of her fantasizies about killing President Bush--and she's not joking, but that's her problem. We're better than that.
The "homosexuals are dogs" comment is taken out of context. The actual quote is "Homosexuals are the modern day dogs in the manger." That was in reference to an article about proprieters in the U.K. not being allowed to deny hotel accomodations to homosexual couples on account of religious belief.
The American Heritage online dictionary gives this description for the phrase: dog in the manger, NOUN: Inflected forms: pl. dogs in the manger. One who prevents others from enjoying what one has no use for oneself. ETYMOLOGY: From a fable in which a dog prevented an ox from eating hay he did not want himself.
That comment was posted two days ago and has also been removed by the moderators. It is available for now in Google cache.
The "I hate blacks" comment was nowhere to be found in the other threads referenced.
The threads are about crime in the black community, gangsta culture and Jesse Jackson. Two of the threads are in the Smoky Backroom.

Ok but you keep Eeeek on a leash or get him his shots.....:o)
I distinctly remember Bill O calling Neil Bortz a "viscious son of a bitch" live on the air when Neil called him out on making a racist joke about mexicans stealing hubcaps. Both of those things are more hateful than anything he can show from FR.
Yes.
Well said. That too is my concern.
"I just want to tell everybody that Matt Drudge is smoking crack - right now, in South Miami Beach on Washington Avenue... And the authorities should know it."
Bill O'Reilly
If O'Reilly with all his media power can lead people to believe that Free Republic is a "Hate Site" based on dishonestly presented data and No Data on the "I hate Blacks" allegation, It will hurt FR in its market. O'Reilly has a substantial Conservative audience and can hurt FR like KOS or DU never could.
What proof do you have that a detective and a TV station lied?
When O Reilly came on last night with his big expose’ my wife said” yeah I have a husband thats one of them! LOL
I said WHAT??? I was reading the paper and not really paying attention to O Lielately.
She said “you are a Freeper aren’t you??
See..... Already classified as a threat to someone by affiliation. And damn proud of it!!!
I’d even go futher then that but I agree with what you are saying.
WOO-HOO! Now that's what I wanted to hear! BOR had nothing and tried to make it into something! I was afraid that FR was overreact and even "WTF" would be off limits!
That’s O’Reilly’s MO: He portrays himself as fair and unbiased by triangulating, by placing himself above (he thinks) two opposing sides. His comments made FR the equivalent of the Daily Kos, which was deceptive. Plus, he would barely let Kristinn get three words out of his mouth before he would interrupt and talk over Kristinn with barely concealed contempt. BOR didn’t want to hear what Kristinn said; he only asked him on the show to be a prop.
You did a great job, Kristinn, under the trying circumstances. You really kept your cool. If you had shown anger, it would have played right into the little drama he had staged. I’m proud of you. You represented us well.
The man who got me hooked on FR is black and a wonderful conservative. I highly doubt he would turn me on to a site that “hates blacks”.
THank you, Lou, wherever you are.

If the hate is any indication of the Kos bunch. Count on an infiltrator. I wonder if OReally got a heads up. HUMMMMMM enquiring minds would like to know.
I think we should be concerned by the trend in “Political Hate Speech”. Which is people criticizing candidates or politicians because we disagree with them.
Campaign finance Reform is an attempt at squelching organized political “hate Speech”. Now the same socialist operatives are attacking individual political views, ideas, and dissenting opinions.
But it always seems to be the politicians and their affiliates with the unpopular ideas who seek to silence their opposition. With the help of the media, who has annoited themselves as the only purveyor of thought and discussion, nobody else has a voice if the left gets their way.
I need a grain of salt to watch to the Factor now.
My personal guess would be that he hates being lauged at (Keyword: Boortz), and Lord knows we laugh a whole lot at him around here, and rightfully so.
I post on here from time to time but I find a large number of people to be extremely hateful. Obscene comments that should never be made are made in almost every thread
