Its hard to grasp the point of yesterdays front page New York Times article on Chelsea Clintonby wunderkind reporter Jodi Kantor. While its clear that Kantor intended her piece to reveal the real Chelsea, she admits at the outset that the former first daughter and her parents turned down interview requests for the article, as they have for countless others on the subject. So, how does Kantor remedy this lack? With received wisdom and banalities, naturally. Kantor helpfully informs readers that the young Clinton has strawberry blond hair and favors tasteful pantsuits, that she graduated in 2001 from Stanford, did a stint at McKinsey, and works at a hedge fund run by a donor to various Clinton causes. Thats hard-hitting reportage.

The name “Hubble” doesn’t seem Jewish...
I have to wonder if that means she has her mother ankles.
Yes almost as hard hitting as it would have been had it been the daughter/son of a Republican candidate who a few years after college graduation (an education that I doubt focused on business) is now being paid several hundred thousand dollars as an investment analyst for an “evil” hedge fund.
Yeah, I read the article, but it was a puff piece.
The acorn never falls far from the tree....
What’s she hedging against...a drop in cattle futures?
Obviously, the Evil Spawn of Herself, the Cold and Joyless, has no desire to become a pinata. Because that is what it would be, if she agreed to any sit-down interview.
The knives have been honed for a long time, and some of the questions may turn out to be a little too penetrating. And we don’t ever want to crack the facade.
Ah, yes she’s developing her mother’s fine figure!
I know Chelsea is the bestest, most perfect daughter in the world just like her Mom is the smartest woman in the world.
Yeah, right. This is a waste of time and words.
Not Hillary AGAIN!!!!!!.......She is everywhere!!!!!.....Next dump truck drivers endorse Hillary!!!!!!......
