I taped a segment on the O'Reilly Factor for airing tonight to defend Free Republic against charges that it is a hate site. The segment will air in the 'D block' around 8:35 p.m. EDT and rerun at 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. EDT.
Rather than tell how it went, I'll leave it for folks to watch and decide for themselves. I hope I did right by FR.
We'll be having company tonight as some of Bill O'Reilly's two million-plus viewers check out FR for themselves. So please bear that in mind as you comment tonight. The Daily Kos is waging a very nasty personal campaign of retribution against O'Reilly. No sense in us piling on. Let's use this as an opportunity to show people why FR is the best conservative site on the web.

Had to come back in once to get another beer, though; the stuff’s as nasty as all sin. I couldn’t take it straight.
And, another thing: you know ol’ BOR’s gonna read this and accuse all FReepers of being Preparation-H-eatin’ flatheads.
Harpo, you have with this description succinctly and accurately distilled the essence of Bill O'Reilly.
I would only add that he cannot be taken seriously as any sort of authority on the important issues of the day because he lacks a coherent set of principles upon which his opinions are based. Everything is emotive with him - facts and logic are malleable or optional in whatever manner suits his "agenda du jour".
let us know if you get the posts. If you don’t I’m going to really doubt BOR’s claims about them.

The "un-named mall" was The Polaris Fashion Mall, which is right around the corner from me.
This black raghead had a kiosk in the mall selling cell phones. I was always gonna go see how many idiots were continuing to do business with his family after this hit, but I avoid malls like the plague.
I've no idea how long the kiosk stayed in business or if his family ran it. Seems to me they should all be sent back to their 3rd world hellhole.

Kristinn- wow- what a railroading The Big O gave FR. Here’s the thing about O’reilly- (I’ve written about his rants against bloggers and sites like this on my blog which I no longer upkeep)
He- O’reilly, I truly believe is a bit defensive of his media driven opinion show, and he has shown in the past that he has no empathy for the written blog/site opinion sites like FR- it’s as though he were upset about ‘losing viewers’ to internet sites.
With htis in mind, it it not surprising that he tries to impune your whole FR site instead of realizing, like you said, that this is a huge huge site with htousands of posts every single day, and it is impossible to monitor every post-
O’ said he ‘found examples’ by just doing a quick search on the site, and insinuated that it’s ‘not that difficult’ to monitor for? O’ is on drugs if that’s hwat he thinks.
O’ apparently, in his little world where everyone does everythign for him as far as preperations are concerned, doesn’t evidently think that it’s very hard to monitor every post amoung thousands- I wish you had said to him “You think it’s easy Bill? Then pop on over and volunteer for being a monitor, and when the usual suspects slip through the cracks and post hate messages, we’ll all level the blame squarely on you Bill”

Kristinn- you’ve more than met your ‘responsibility’ to America by monitoring as best you can- You sir are not responsible for people’s reprehensible behaviours, nor should people like Bill even hint that you are. Don’t be intimidated by the ilk of Bill- He simply is out of touch with reality, and laments the fact that media is dying and the internet is taking over. That fact seriously is a stick in his craw, and hew makes no bones about belittling bloggers and sites like this while pretending he doesn’t engage in the very same tactics he accuses bloggers of doing- sensationalism and sloppy reporting.
FR is not a hate site- never has been- never will be- you know that, I know that- the good people here know that- Bill obviously wants to impune the victim while exhonorating the perpetrators. Bill needs counciling to understand hwat he is doing!
I loved that he tried to equate FR’s response to the FEW hate messages that slip through with what KOS says about the hate messages- Hey Bill- Not even close- don’t make out like it is.
