This is a copy of the 2006 Lexicon (linked at the top) for Freepers to review and add their suggestions for things that should be added or removed. It would also be nice to know who to credit with the addition (if you know who the originating FReeper was for a phrase etc).

I've suggested removing WAYR as it was really only used shortly after the South Park episode aired and didn't ever gain the traction or significant use here. If I am wrong, please correct me and I'll keep it in for the final version.

Before I let everyone 'have at it', let me quickly lament my stupidity for not learning my lesson in 2006 and taking this on again: oh why did I do it?! why did I not shut up and leave things alone?!...

For pure historic/touching reasons I would include the World Trade Center thread. It provides a minute by minute account of 9/11. Thread started by "Oldeconomybuyer" at 8:52am on 9/11.

I've bookmarked a few other memorable threads, the funniest I think was:
the loin that squeaked The poster meant lion and 252 loin jokes later it is still hysterical. That thread never made clasic status but it is sure damn funny.

I tried to get “dam ties” and “GI Joe Hostage” as part of freeper lore, but they never caught on. “Scarmable” did, though.
