AFA to Counter Boycott of Fox News Channel

The American Family Association (AFA) says it will counter the efforts of left-wing groups to boycott Fox News Channel.

Groups such as MoveOn.org, the Campaign for America’s Future and liberal blogs like DailyKos.com have called for a boycott of Fox News Channel. DailyKos says the network characterizes itself as a fair news network when it consistently favors a conservative point of view.

"Every advertiser the liberals want to target for a boycott, we will target to promote,” said AFA chairman Donald E. Wildmon. "I think we can do a better job than these groups when it comes to boycotting and buycotting,” he said.

"The liberal groups want to force Fox News Channel to put a liberal spin on their news. They are upset that Fox gives us fair and balanced news, something the liberals can’t stand,” Wildmon stated.

Liberals would rather plug their ears with their fingers than hear facts which might destroy their “intellectual “ houses built on sand.

How can one boycott anything when broke, unemployed (by their own accord), and living in mom’s basement?

The important thing to them is they THINK they can.

Brit Hume is the best. I wish there were more men and women like him. He is a treasure.

Robert Greenwald is the director/producer of "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism," the 2004 documentary exposing the right-wing bias of Fox News.

Greenwald must be jumping up and down today.

Dow Jones & Co. Inc.'s controlling Bancroft family "has accepted" News Corp.'s $5 billion offer to buy the publisher of the Wall Street Journal, an executive of a Dow Jones unit said on Tuesday.

I quit buying the New York Times and Newsday about 4 or 5 years ago.

When I bought those two Liberal megaphones I felt like I was making a direct contribution to the DNC

I have my own little boycott thing I do, all the outfits you’ve listed are on my list. I also refuse to spend any money on Hollywood products that use America haters like Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, et al.

It doesn’t negatively affect my life in anyway, I’m probably enriched for ignoring these losers if the truth be known.

Greenwald is too arrogant & stupid to really care. It’s all about Greenwald making money but his ‘followers’ are too stupid to understand that either.

Just a little Michael Moore wanta be.

For some reason he thinks he is important.

Don’t forget Julia - (”the word Republican can be found
between reptile and repulsive in the dictionary.” - Roberts.

I haven’t watched network shows since 1988.

I never watch CNN, except during the Gulf War (pre FNC).

I will go out of my way to shop at Walmart, even though Target is closer.

I cancelled the LA Times in 1985

I cancelled Time Magazine when Clinton was elected in ‘92.

I have never seen “Titanic” because it promotes adultery.

No one in our family has ever read a Harry Potter book because it promotes sorcery.

*******

Now you know someone who really lives in a cave. LOL!

I don’t consider it living in a cave, no need to associate with the pigs in the poke.

So does this mean, in the interest of fairness, they want their candidates to debate on Fox now? Nevermind.

This is counter productive. Boycotts work when they become widely known...that is what the business’ involved want to avoid. If the efforts of the AFA gives this boycott a higher visability, the advertisers might cave.

The people at Move ON, CAF and KOS cater to do not watch Fox and do not see the advertisers commercials. Giving them a bigger PR punch only will elevate this idiotic manuever and drive people totheir websites.

Why is the right so dumb so often.

That’s exactly how they can show up. Most of us folks who can boycott are busy working and have to protest here in NYC on our lunch breaks.

ex-Army specialist Korey Rowe. The 23-year old from Oneonta, New York returned home from two tours—one to Afghanistan; the other to Iraq—to help his best friends, Dylan Avery (director) and Jason Bermas (researcher), produce the sensational 80-minute, Web-based documentary Loose Change, which seeks to establish the government’s complicity in the terror attacks by addressing some very tough questions: Why wasn’t Ground Zero treated like a crime scene? How did both towers “freefall” to the ground “in 9.2 seconds” in just under two hours? And where are the black boxes from American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175?

It was WAR, Korey!

The towers didn't 'freefall' they were incinerated.

The black boxes were also incinerated dumb*ss.
