Once again the powers that be have called a NON_TROPICAL storm an Tropical STORM for political reasons. They have also given a name to a tropical depression. All of this never occurred until just the past few years.
Think there is an agenda here????

Having bought into the ''global-warming-causes-bigger-and-badder-hurricanes'' nonsense, lots of weatherguessers are now at great pain to ''jutify'' their forecasts. So far this season, we've not a had a single TS...yet we've 3 named storms.
Well, I suppose one must do **something** when one's rediction of 15 named storms (or more) is going into the toilet...

this is a subtropical storm! they need to stop giving names to these! looks like all theyre doing is trying to inflate the numbers.
To: NCjim
Max sustained wind: 35 mph!
Or a bit of a breeze by western Oklahoma standards.

The “experts” will now name every tropical low in attempts to prove themselves right that this was the “worst” year ever.

Sustained winds of 35 mph?
Man, we get thunderstorms with more wind.
30 years ago nobody would have noticed this one.

this is a subtropical storm! They are referring to it as a tropical storm, not a sub-tropical storm. A system's latitude has nothing to do with how it is classified. Instead, it boils down to warm-core (tropical) versus cold-core (extratropical) along with hybrid systems (subtropical).

I think the front dropping into the northern gulf, might be the place to keep an eye on the next few days. Many of the models are suggesting some development.

The experts will now name every tropical low in attempts to prove themselves right that this was the worst year ever.I hate to tell you this to shatter your agenda, but a lot of hurricane forecasters and experts are either skeptics or critics of the human-caused global warming movement.
The system in question definitely looks like it has tropical characteristics.
