I love grits made into the ‘cheese grits casserole’. It is good hot, cold or room temp. Once you make it, just keep it in the ‘fridge, and cut off a square when ever you have that wonderful Southern ‘grit’ craving.

(I was hoping people would post recipes here.)

Evening Yorkie! It’s good to see you!

Here is a really good Cheese Grits Casserole recipe that I have used many times, and is very easy. Keeps well in the fridge!

1 cup grits
1/2 cup butter
1/2 lb. shard cheddar cheese
3 eggs beaten
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. Worchestershire sauce

Cook the grits according to package directions. Add the butter and cheese until melted. Stir in remaining indregients.

The original recipe says to bake the grits in a hot water bath at 375 degrees, until set, about 30-40 minutes, depending on your oven.

Enjoy!
