Well both are old Senate colleagues of Dole. It is one of the basic rules for the DC Old Boy’s club. Must endorse and support each other.

The only Monday Morning Generals that bother me are the ones on FR. You would think that a little support wouldn’t kill them, but there they are ripping our military like they are Keystone Cops.
Like there has never been a mistake during war. They make me vomit with their knives to the backs of our men.

Also, for those who missed it, Roy Blunt was defending Gonzo on Late Edition. Says he knows him and he is a decent man. He was not as vigorous as Sen. Hatch, but this is another good sign. They are standing with the Administration on this. The dems were hoping for mass defection. They are not getting it.

Wasn’t there a North Vietnamese general who wrote in his memoirs that they could not have prevailed without the assistance of the US media and the Jane Fonda/John Kerry types?
To: Bahbah
I hope we are beginning to learn how to deal with the dems. It's just like dealing with terrorists. You can't talk to them you just go and kick their ass.
If they don't get it right after that you go back and do it again. In no time at all they will cave or at the very least run away with tail between legs.
As corrupt as the dems are we should have no trouble at all exposing their defects at least as fast as they make up stuff about our guys.

For most of them it gives them another reason to bash President Bush.
This is a war like we have never seen or prepared and now the Surge strategy is finally getting it right. We will have a fully working Country w/in a year and that will astonish the entire World let alone the ME.

We have the best fighting forces ever assembled. You bet we do...
rodguy...you are so right about our news/media .....did TV news bring about this change? I think it did, we have celebrities reporting news and making news....I'm old enough to remember how it used to be...and old enough to be frightened for my grandchildren.
Kudos to all who watch and report on these phony news shows....I would stroke out watching them.

Of course our bunch of sackless Pubbies refuse to present this type information as the “real lessons of Vietnam”.
To: rodguy911
Do you suppose the Cut&RunoCrats have strategy sessions on how to minimize the damage if and when we do win in Iraq?? How do you suppose they and their Megaphones in the press will handle that??
So far it has been to tamp down the Surge’s Successes. What happens when casualties start running below 50 and bombings are quelled?? How do they get on the bus then??

I'm so glad that you brought this up because this is a huge part of why the dems are so desperate to tear the Adm. apart. They too, as bereft as they are, realize that the surge is working and they are brazen enough to try and turn the results of the war around
in favor of the terrorists just so they can get more power than they already have.
Actually the destruction of the adm.,even though its a main goal, is also a fall back position in case Iraq war improves.
To me this is the definition of a traitor.

Thanks much appreciated. I have learned to laugh at their foolish attempts rather than get upset.

Feingold made me sick this morning. Makes my skin crawl.
To: bray
I think even if the war turns around they will go on just trying to destroy the Bush adm.,it’s BDS no matter what happens in Iraq.

Of course they will continue their Special Persecutor fishing exhibitions, but Dims are the ultimate pragmatists and will not risk losing an election over this.
They will try to say they were critical and made the Bush Administration change or some spin of that type.
You can bet they are polling this daily just in case there is a change.
