Cincinnati, OH (LifeNews.com) -- An Ohio teenager and his friend who are accused of attacking his pregnant girlfriend and killing her unborn child have been apprehended by police. Alfonso Price, a 15 year-old, allegedly attacked Kerria Anderson, 18, because she refused to have an abortion of her baby who Price fathered.
Price reportedly kicked Anderson, who was eight months pregnant, in the stomach and hit her causing her to miscarry the eight-month old unborn child.
Police caught up with Price Friday morning and he was taken into custody and charged with aggravated murder and felonious assault.
Later, Price's supposed accomplice, 17 year-old Jebrell Wright, was arrested and charged with the same crimes.
Anderson's mother, Angela Anderson, told the Cincinnati Enquirer newspaper that the teens stomped on her daughter and that shoe marks were left on her clothes and body after the attack.
Angela described her daughter as frazzled by the incident and said she didn't think Price was a violent person despite several arrests for minor crimes. Kerria Anderson had previously filed a police report for abuse but didn't follow through on it to press charges.
Anderson was standing at a bus stop on July 11 when the attack happened and Price and his friend were said to have dragged her to a building in a nearby neighborhood where he attacked her and left her.
Anderson was eventually able to contact authorities from an adjacent store but her baby, whom she planned to name Precious, wasn't able to be saved. Her skull had been fractured in the attack.
"She was just all broken up," Angela Anderson said of the baby, who also had numerous broken bones resulting from the attack.
Kerria Anderson also has a 1 year-old daughter and was slated to deliver the unborn child in late August.
Anderson's grandmother, Betty Payne, told AP that Price was the father of the baby.
"He wanted her to get an abortion because they were not together," Payne said. "He didn't want his baby raised by another man."
The case brings more attention to violence against pregnant women, especially those whose refusals to have abortions spark violent rage in their partners.
Ohio is one of 35 states that have a law protecting pregnant women and their unborn children and providing them with justice when they are injured or killed in an attack.
Some 25 of the states, including Ohio, allow prosecutors to bring forth two charges at any time during the pregnancy for death or injury to both mother and child and another 10 states only protect women and children in the latter stages of pregnancy.

Please be careful. Domestic Violence and Abuse is not as easy as someone outside of it thinks. There are many facets you may not be aware of.
again, unless you have lived Domestic Violence and Abuse, you may not understand the things you are choosing to judge so easily from outside of it.

It doesn't matter that she was pg by a teen, or how, or why....everyone here has committed sins they are not proud of. She was trying to do the right thing after making a bad decision. An abuser always lays the blame everywhere except on himself. By the very questions here, you would be aiding the abuser in his 'blame-game' rather than helping to hold him accountable. I cannot understand that kind of thought process.
Maybe someone here can tell me... why is it always the female who gets blamed and judged for pregnancy when the male 'sowed the seed'??!!! If you have an answer for the question, my next question is, does that make it right?
Prayers for comfort for her. She has lost a child she planned on keeping and was growing dreams for. PTL she cannot read some of these posts here for you would be further inflicting pain on her. She is already physically and psychologically wounded, add to that grieving the loss of life.
how can the statistics even claim to be close? the number who do not report abuse is HIGH, so no one knows the real number. sometimes the reports don’t come in until the abuser has KILLED the victim and then it is too late. sometimes the police don’t believe the victim because there weren’t good enough photos for them to take. the number on whites is low because of the other issues involved with whites. asians don’t report because of the ‘dishonor and disgrace’ and what it says in their culture. statistics won’t be accurate, IMHO.
you can research the stats on google yourself hon and then take it up with them if you’d like

Oh, and the other cousin says in a video clip, " Somebody wanted the $4,000 reward" , that's why Alphonzo was , "snitched", (my term, not hers).
She is a young woman at 18, with a 1 year old child, by a different man, than the 15 year old who provided a stud service.
She needs to get her act together before she gets into another abusive relationship. She has some options now, ranging from giving up her child, getting sterilized and continuing on with her man-childs, to putting her child first.
No one is going to get her act together for her.

That’s just it. I haven’t. No way my Mom would stand for it. A man hit her once, my former step-dad. My two uncles showed up and “helped” the step-dad move out. He was made aware what would happen if he returned.
