Who cares? These people are nothing more than ambulance chasers. Call John Edwards, take two aspirin, and call me in the morning. Then, pay 500 US fiat dollars for the advise. Screw them and anyone that believes this c04p. Get a life, people!!!!!!

Too bad that while honing your sense of humor you didn't acquired the wisdom to practice discretion.

Obviously many people care. Myself included. If you don’t care don’t click on the thread and by god don’t even bother to waste our time and write something.

Too bad that while honing your sense of humor you didn't acquired the wisdom to practice discretion. Yeah - I know what you mean. So what did you do while you were out there on the crash crew picking up body parts?

What a boorish thing to say.

LOL - almost as boorish as framing your comments, and avoiding the question. So, what did you do? I worked crash recovery and investigation for ten years while I was a jet engine mechanic. I worked fatal and non-fatal crashes, picked up pieces parts, and dealt with it by laughing about it, being glad it wasn’t me, and figuring out what caused it so we could do what we could do to prevent it from happening again.
So, what did you do?

It doesn't matter what I do, what you did, nor does the format in which I post matter. Sufficient for me that you know your disgusting attempt to draw attention to yourself in the face of human tragedy did not go unnoticed. Take off.

Thanks for that. Jerry was kind of iconic but very reckless.
(That video of the pilot talking with the newsroom and obviously seeing the other craft after it is to late to do anything about it is very chilling.)
My prayers to the families of these guys.
To: eyedigress
I got pissed with Jerry during the Super Bowl in Tempe. He sat around moaning and complaining about the brown cloud and lecturing about how we should all be ashamed of it. As if we could actually do anything about it.
When I was a kid I thought he was cool. As an adult, not so much.
To: HungarianGypsy
I’m sure his drug arrest didn’t help any either.
To: HungarianGypsy
where is jerry now? i don’t remember the drug arrest, but i do remember him getting grounded or suspended

Mobility and speed at getting to the site of a breaking story sometimes leads to a sparring competition even as the various reporting agencies approach. That statement is a projection of your imagination. There is NO "sparring competition" in the air between helicopter news crews. Trust me.

Except what I mentioned above, which involved a personality issue, I have always really liked the news helicopter pilots in Phoenix. Some of the best stories have been about some of the pilots who decided to help out when someone was lost and end up being the rescuer.

Its time we ban...I have a hard time with any statement that begins with those four words.

Its time we ban news organizations from broadcasting police chases live in my opinion. Not likely, but if a news chopper had run into a police chopper tracking the suspect I wonder what kind of heat we might see.
