Anyway, the only voice on talk radio that is not a drone is Michael Savage. And he alone championed the case of the Duke Lacrosse players from the very beginning. I remember the day very well. As usual, Savage predicted what would happen, just like the immigration atrocity that almost happened
.just like the Dubai Ports thing. Why is it this guy seems to be the only one who gives a damn about something OTHER than partisan politics?

Courtesy ping to the Savage hater’s club! iowamark reminded me of you two.
Sean started spewing facts on day one on his radio show and TV show.
Yep, only savage called it right.
I also remember when Sean asked VP Cheney why the Haditha accused Marines were in leg irons. VP said he'd look into it and that night the leg irons came off. I accidentally surfed into savage that night and he was patting himself on the back taking 100% of the credit.
I never trust a person who takes all of the credit.
I guess this writer does not listen to Rush, Sean or any east coast local talk shows, or read Free Republic, What a strange accolade to give to Michael Weiner.
What have you got against a pseudonym?
As far as being a so-called ‘lib-Dem’: you’re crazy.
Not really. Most commentators tend to play to a certain crowd, none of which I seem to fit into. I agree with a lot of them on a lot of issues, but they all disappoint me in ways.
Savage just irritates me more than the others.
He may be right, but he’s unlistenable (if that’s a word). He gives me a headache in 30 seconds.
What about Prager, Medved, Levin, all happen to be Jewish also btw?
I felt the same way when I first heard him over 5 years ago. It took me a few months to get used to his style.
He still irritates me in some ways, but then again, so do most people I know.
“What about Prager, Medved, Levin, all happen to be Jewish also btw?” What the hell does this have to do with the discussion!?!?!?!??!?!???!?!?!? Golda Frickin’ Meir was Jewish too. Would you like me to comment on her Yiddishness????
I’d have to say that Levin is shoulders above most. He has an intelligent delivery. Lacks Savage’s manic nature.
I was listening to Weiner when he was still local and actually called in to his show on more then one occasion. Back then, when he was honing his act, he was not as abrasive and as tiring has he later became.
But after listening to him and also after some second hand personal experiences with him (he was a regular at a friends restaurant) I became convinced that he is an act and not a genuine person.
I enjoy listening to Savage, but this statement is 100% absolute BS. A total and complete lie.
Sean Hannity was a loud and clear voice in defense of the Duke Lacrosse players from day 1, and frankly I thought he talked about it too much.
Of course, living in the Raleigh/Durham area, it was all I heard.
“American Chronicle”
Looks kinda like a blog in some ways.
Savage is not a Yankee, he’s a Neu Yawker.
You're entitled to your opinion, but second hand stories are hardly credible.
He also talked about immigration first before anyone else
I enjoy listening to conservative talk radio — Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and others. However, they are “sissies” compared to Mike Savage! Mike is a highly educated person who talks like “Joe Six-pack.” That I really understand and enjoy. He, more than the others, says almost exactly what I am thinking. Mike makes it simple and clear: borders, language, and culture. He has almost superhuman insight into events that are direction markers to our future. His book, The Poltical Zoo, is an excellent, thoroughly researched piece of work, that is a handy reference for me. Of course I have all of his books.
I didn’t support that. But if he donates to Arnie: that’s it!
