Since when have dems considered perjury a crime? It was perfectly acceptable to them when Clinton lied under oath.

How soon before the DBM starts whining about how Congress is hounding the Bush Administration? Not holding my breath.
“It’s a private matter”, was an excuse that worked well for Clinton. Maybe Bush should try it.

Why is Gonzo so stupid? How did he get to be a judge on the Texas Supreme Court? His speaking skills rival a 15 year old with Aspergers Syndrome.

Let's see how they might to it: Mr. Gonzales, we have noticed that your use of the word "is" supports our charge that you perjured your testimony. We believe that your earlier testimony used the word "is" in a different way than your latest testimony. Do you remember giving this statement?: "The Attorney General is out of the loop from the President's decision to fire judges.""

Why wasn’t there a grand jury for Hillary who gave testimony to the grand jury that was “factually inaccurate”?

You Dims have a problem with perjury? Your boy, Billie, had a big problem with the truth, but that just didn’t “reach the level”. Now, get lost!

You have to admit that a large number of FReepers called this one - the Dems' primary activity upon attaining a majority status is to investigate, pontificate, bloviate, and do anything but legislate. Anything for headlines, nothing for which they might be held responsible.
It's wearing a little thin. The moonbat wing of the party is already on the warpath the the powermongers at the NY Times are desperately spiking stories in their defense of She Who Must Not Be Named. It's going to be a long and tedious election cycle.

I believe these people, the congress people, are in Washington to work, not be on a perpetual witch-hunt. They are spending all their time on a get Bush at any cost campaign. Congress I pay your salary, it is time to get to work and stop the sniping.

Gonzales never said the meeting wasn’t about the TSP, he just said that’s not what he was there for as council for the President and that the descent was about another program.
