WASHINGTON Former Sen. Fred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate in waiting, candidly answered a question at a campaign stop in Texas yesterday regarding his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations, sometimes referred to as a "shadow government" organization of elites with a global agenda.
In an exchange caught on YouTube that later deteriorated into a police encounter, an activist asked Thompson about his membership in the group, linking it with plans for a "North American Union."

A big fat nothing. Conspiracy theory wackos need to invest in more tinfoil. Their brainwaves are being manipulated.
Bingeaux! Do you think she has a life sized cardboard cut out of Ron Paul to go with her tinfoil ?

That link is to a .pdf to their site. It speaks for itself. The poor lady in the video was an insane troofer. You know, fire doesn’t melt steel, etc. Steel is a naturally occurring element and they mine it right out of the ground already shaped like bike frames, car parts, I-beams, etc. How do it know? LOL
Now that is a conspiracy nut. CFR, on the other hand is not a conspiracy, it as an entity exists and it’s out in plain view for all to see. A conspiracy usually involves secreting information of some form or the other. CFR doesn’t do that, no conspiracy there. They even provide a .pdf for the public.

For the most part I agree. I have had some problems with a few Hunterheads. I’m still undecided between Hunter and Thompson. My vote would go to Tancredo if I thought he had a chance to win, which I don’t.

“There are a few smart people out there still that dont support Hunter.”
Can you explain this please? I’m not sure how to take it.

FROM A CNN BLOG:
"All of these candidates are a part of the Council on Foreign Relations: Fred Thompson Rudy Giuliani John McCain Mitt Romney Jim Gilmore Hillary Clinton Barack Obama John Edwards Joe Biden Chris Dodd Bill Richardson Keep in mind, however, these individuals are not members of the NAU task force."

Yes they do, and as such anyone who bothers to read their position papers knows that is exactly all it is. Do some of the ideas come to pass, perhaps, are the influential, only because of the membership and their roles in government. Yale and Harvard also have powerful alumni in government. Are they too suspect?
CFR is a very large debate club, with a skewed perspective in its writings because the bulk of that is done by academics. They have conservative as well as liberal members. Being in “the club” does not make one a Globalist or the like, but there are Globalist members. The is nothing nefarious about the CFR.

I wonder what he said.
Watch the video.
I wonder why the police dragged the woman out of the meeting. From what I could see and hear, she was just exercising her First Amendment Rights as an American.
That really disappointed me.

BUT, THIS IS STILL THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. ARE WE GOING TO START PROPOGATING SILENCING PEOPLE WHO MIGHT "RUB US THE WRONG WAY"? I DON'T KNOW IF THE WOMAN WAS A KOOK OR NOT, BUT HER RIGHT TO SPEAK IS PROTECTED BY THE CONSTITUTION.
I WATCHED THE VIDEO AND I CERTAINLY HOPE THAT FRED'S TEAM WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HER BEING DRAGGED OUT.
AND, YES I'M USING ALL CAPS......THIS HAS REALLY DISTURBED ME AND I'M A FRED SUPPORTER.

They dragged her out because she was unruly and crazy and probably needed a straightjacket.

If you wouldn’t make statements like that, people would not know just how ignorant you really are.
I guess you think she should be jailed. After all, what does she think this is; a free country where a person’s right to speak is protected by the Constitution? Doesn’t that stupid woman know that “good” people like you are helping destroy that right?
I may not agree with her on a lot of issues, but, unlike people like you, I will defend her right to speak until there is not breath left in my body.
BTW, next time you attend a rally for your buddies Hillary and Barack and other Communists, tell them “hi” for me.

I thought somebody asked Thompson about CFR (Campaign Finance Reform). What's there to say? Senator Cornpone passed it, gagged us, now say's he's "sorry."
But we're still gagged.
He smiles and moves on. The idiot southron right just says, "Beat us again, suh!"
