WASHINGTON Former Sen. Fred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate in waiting, candidly answered a question at a campaign stop in Texas yesterday regarding his membership in the Council on Foreign Relations, sometimes referred to as a "shadow government" organization of elites with a global agenda.
In an exchange caught on YouTube that later deteriorated into a police encounter, an activist asked Thompson about his membership in the group, linking it with plans for a "North American Union."

"I didn't know they were up to that," said Thompson".
Hmmm...
I wonder what he said. Maybe somebody will post that someday.
Rush Limbaugh is a member of the CFR.
Looks shifty to me.
She screams that the world trade center was “an inside job” as she is taken away.
Nuts like this prevent conservative progress, they don’t do anything to help it.
Good thing our government is altruistic besides history has shown that concerns otherwise prove to be a waste of time and completely foolish.
She really starts hitting the conspiracy sauce as she's dragged off, and the sound stays right with her. The statements she squeaks then, which apparently seemed potent and clever as she was planning them in her mind, kind of underline why she had to go. Takes all kinds, and thanks for posting.
Oh jeez - - I thought somebody asked Thompson about CFR (Campaign Finance Reform).
....and he showed up at 11:59 to the great “immigration debates / shamnesty bru-ha-ha” of 2007 and offered luke warm support. The general public was way out in front of him during this debacle.
You’re a HunterHead right?
"I didn't know they were up to that," said Thompson. "Now, don't fuss at me. You asked me a question. Let me answer it. There are several conservatives over the years who have been members of the Council on Foreign Relations. I try to learn as much as I can from all viewpoints. I have been a fellow of the American Enterprise Institute, one of the conservative thinks tanks in town, and enjoy having intellectual exercise and discussions whether I agree or not with anyone on any particular issue."
A big fat nothing. Conspiracy theory wackos need to invest in more tinfoil. Their brainwaves are being manipulated.
All the crazies together now, scream:
“World Trade Center 7, it was an inside job!”

They keep coming up empty. Time to get back to slandering his wife.
I live in the middle of nowhere and thus am I bandwidth challenged. But thanks, anyhow.
Run, FRed, Run!!
Undecided as of now. Everyone’s still on their “best behavior”.
Might be, but I don’t recognize the ID as such. There are a few smart people out there still that don’t support Hunter. So I wouldn’t just naturally assume he/she supported Hunter on that alone.
