No obvious problems?
How about not coddling them and keeping them locked up?
People must keep firearms in their houses for protection. These houses are very far apart and you can forget about your friends coming to the rescue - they will not hear a thing.
PING!
The firearms alone are not enough. You also need solid knowledge and training in their use, frequent practice and the will to do what’s necessary.
You also need the will to use them...
I thought I said that...
;-)
Lucky for you! The Founding Fathers have already answered your little dilemma.
It's called the Second Amendment.
How about swiftly executing the perps?
It’s time our justice system admit that there is a subset of people who will never fit into civil society, and there is no point in giving them chance after chance. In times past they probably would have been done away with, either by whatever passed for a justice system, or by someone they harmed in some way. Today, we slap em on the wrist and release them again and again to wreak havoc on law abiding citizens.

Here's an idea for career criminals: convict them, revoke their citizenship and sell them as slaves to a far away foreign country. They can work in the mines or shovel manure for the rest of their miserable lives.
Exactly! And pretty much for hte sam reasons we keep fire extinguishers. Guns = punk extinguishers, and could have saved this family, and our ation, from such a tragedy.
My opinion about the Parole Board would get me banned for life on this board.
“Farr said the parole boards staff scoured its files Tuesday to see if any mistakes were made and couldnt find any obvious problems.”....DUH?...Maybe THAT’S the problem?
This is a terrible loss. Terrible - I wonder what the bleading hearts in the local papers will say. I have noticed that people in the wealthier areas, such as Greenwich, tend to be very liberal.
In the least a big dog. I wonder if the family owned a weapon? We will not know if he did not but if he did the anti crowd will clamor that it did not help them.
Liberal guilt. It's especially prevalent among those "poor little rich kids" who never had to struggle to make a living or fend off the dregs of society.
The younger suspect is apparently the step-grandson of conservative writer John Chamberlain.
BUT! Only with other peoples money! They probably pay less taxes (income, anyway) than I do.
