Dang.

Now we won’t be able to read WND’s “Implanted Chip Nightmare” stories in there entirety on FR anymore. A tragedy....

I don’t take the site too seriously myself.

But we ought to be fair. It is his site, and he’s entitled to want the traffic. I thought most of us here were free market capitalists.

What an ego boost for Farrah.

Now he’s “just like” the NYSlimes, the WaPo, USA Yesterday and a host of other conservative, right-leaning publications.
LOL!!

I reckon he’s done this because he’s hurting for ad dollars.

Last year Farrah recommended Republicans boycott the election.

“They are getting as bad as the Weekly World News. . .”

Then:

“That appears to be going out of business. Low sales. I guess there is a limit to underestimating the gullibility of the American Public. Who knew?”

NO!! SAY IT AIN’T SO!!

I LOVE Weekly World News. Pick it up a few times a year. It’s hysterical! What a shame. Where did you hear this?

“Where did you hear this?”

On Wizbang blog. Here is the link:

also here is the link to WWW’s announcement:

Sorry about that, hoss. I use to kill time at grocery checkouts browsing WWW, too.

A friend of mine will really miss it, though. He sold a lot of magazine articles debunking WWW pieces. Almost a cottage industry for him. He is devastated. All the lost future sales. . .

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted an article, so please disregard this if it’s already been done...

Seems to me it would be fairly easy to create a table with the domains of the more common news sources (www.cnn.com, www.worldnetdaily.com, etc.)

Then, on the posting page, have a piece of AJAX script (or a button) that looks up the source link against these domains, and pops up the required style (sourcing only, excerpt only, full text allowed, etc.) and displays it either on the posting page, or in a popup. If a site hasn’t been entered into the database yet, you could default the answer to “excerpt only” just to be safe.

At the very least, a link to the latest list from the posting page would be helpful.
