When I go around the internet searching for articles on various topics, I find links to WND. I search the lsm on the topic as a back up but they are too leftist to print articles I'm interested in.

Their sponsors put crap on my computer and I had a hard time getting rid of it...........

That hasn't happened to me that I'm aware of.

Big deal. WND lost credibility years ago.

Well one of the problems with that is links go out of date or stories get re-edited.

With the re-edited version, the original version would still be out there to find and they'd be busted.

Well one of the problems with that is links go out of date

I go to many links and different sites that go out of date, not just WMD.

It's pretty much been on my do not read list for a while now. Its credibility is just barely above Debka these days, though it occasionally has some good contributors.

I would argue that any information or content that is being provided fully free of charge on the Internet falls within the public domain for fair use.

But these web sites need the hits for ad money, so I guess it's only right to give it to them (though I won't do it for the New York Times and a few others).

but for FR I would not know WND existed.

but for FR I would not read it.

It does have a few good columnists (regan, limbaugh)

this is just minor and understandable.

I agree.

WND is like the Drudge Report.

I might click it once or twice a month.

Maybe.

PLease ban all postings from whirlednutsdaily.
FR’s discourse will increase dramatically if the wnd nuts go gossip about Farah’s paranoid rants elsewhere.

This is a blessing. Their credibility ranks about with CBS in my opinion.

Hmmm, that's interesting because I've found WND to be the only news source reporting on many stories that I believe are important, especially regarding immigration, and I've found their reporting on those stories to be far more detailed and researched than most of the stories in the MSM.

They also sell ad space and it should be understandable to real conservatives why they wouldn't want to lose out on all of the potential traffic they would see with links to their stories ( hits = revenue ). It's not a real hardship to click on a link.

The way some FReepers slam World Net Daily, is probably why they requested it.

I recall when FR excerpted half of WND every day. FR is more "mainstream" now. Farah has some stories a little more on the edge.

I know it seems a lot of FReepers seem intent on burning all our old friends here at the site. Even Ann Coulter.
