“Excerpt only” is a policy we should be following by default anyway (i.e. post full text with permission only).
Intellectual property rights should be respected as much as any other property rights.

Flight 93 memorial: 'Giant mosque' (Pictures don't lie) Farah does not like criticism. He overlooks the fact that the media in general gets a beating at FR, NY Slimes, Washington Compost, etc. Rush Limbaugh, DRUDGE, Hannity or any others always will receive criticism here.
He wants WND to be respected and he wants that enforced at FR. He wants to be special. The answer to that is to tell him no.

Let's try that again...

Old content has a habit of “disappearing” on the internet. Should FR just delete the old threads?

Not that much disappears but even if it does in some cases, so what? The relevant points are often quoted in people’s responses (I know I do it all the time, and many others do too) and really, when you think about it, how many of us are going to spend much time reading old threads? I know that now and again a particular historical thread might be valuable to back up a current argument, but the thread will still be there and any information that is “lost” if some link is broken is most likely still out there somewhere, at the end of a five-second Clusty search. So I’m really not worried about losing that much.

Trying to drive more hits to WND, I imagine. Too bad greed trumps principle.

If he’d do a bit of fact checking on the stories, he might like the response a little better.
But, I’ll say something nice about WND - it’s more reliable than Debka.

I like how wnd sends out advertisements as if they were news alerts. Sounds to me like he is trying to show his advertisers more bang for the buck.
