They changed the name on all the Citgo stations on the Navy bases around here, but they still take Citgo credit cards.
It’s funny to watch all the people pull into the Citgo near me that closed abruptly while leaving the $2.69 sign up. They leave all angry they can’t get cheap gas.

Oh wait, these same useful idiots had no problems changing “color loyalty” when the MSM went from using RED for Democrat election victories to BLUE. I’m in the Charlotte, NC area. We’ve had Petro Express gas stations for years, and they sold Citgo brand gasoline. About 2-3 weeks ago, all the Petro Express stations around here have gone from Citgo brand to Texaco brand gasoline. I’ve looked for news stories about this change but have not found any.

My local Citgo changed to Petro several months ago, but they posted signs at the time saying that they are not Citgo and that they do nat accept Citgo credit cards. Same people run it, though.

This link is to an investments site but this was on the message board. Maybe someone selling Citgo short. :) Petro Express is just like a 7-11, Speedway and the like and I think is out of NC, but nothing to do with Citgo (may sell Citgo gas). If Americans had any real courage they would boycott not only Citgo, but from the ME as well. It is sometimes hard to tell but if demand changes, products offered and prices will change. We continue to buy expensive gasoline they will continue to sell it to us. It’s that simple.
