When Democrats Debate CNN & You Too
Capitol Hill ^ | Jul 25, 07 | JB Williams

Posted on 07/25/2007 7:36:33 AM PDT by PlainOleAmerican

"If it wasn’t clear before last nights debate that none of the other Democrat candidates are really in this race, it should be clear now. John Edwards appeared almost child like every time he opened his mouth, very nervous, in way over his head in this arena.

The rest simply took turns making fools of themselves with overtly ignorant statements like these, Dennis Kucinich, “I say we achieve strength through peace. That’s the new doctrine that I’m going to promote throughout this campaign.” – Mike Gravel who spent the evening firing at everyone on the stage, “You’re not going to see any change when these people get elected. We were asked about—that we’re united. We’re not united. I’m not united on many of their views.” He’s right of course, but still… can’t we all just get along, at least in public?"

(snip)

"It’s clear why Hillary is the leading Democrat candidate. It isn’t that her résumé is so impressive, but rather that her challengers have no résumé at all. She is quite clearly, the only Democrat candidate with any oval office qualifications at all and she is very well rehearsed. She has the best handlers in the business and she is married to probably the most polished politician of our time, if you like that sort of breed."

Good analysis of the YouTube/CNN debate... and I'm having trouble figuring out why so many think that the Democrats will be tough to defeat in 2008???

Is it just because we now have more fools voting than patriots?

All the other Democrats exist to give Hillary the appearance of a tough opponent. She has never faced one and in reality, she has no competition. None of the other Democratic candidates can come close to her.

That pretty much sums it up.

After you watch a few episodes of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking", then ponder on the fact that these people can vote, it's likely to induce some feelings of despair.

You gotta give them this...they finally got Al Sharpton off the stage...that was the whole point of the media declaring Obama a “major candidate” early on.

CNN and most of the MSM are working overtime for the Dems.

Yep, scares the hell out of me every time I watch Leno.

Not one of the Democrat candidates is even remotely qualified for leader of the free world, even Hillary. Yet clearly, half of America has missed this obvious problem...

Other Freepers and I have been predicting a blow-out. I say 40 states to R. Folks on this forum can be scared of Hillary all they want. None of the Dems will go on FoxNews. That is hurting them bad. There are no undecided voters with Hillary. She simply can’t win.

With plenty of morons in the voting booth to support them...

The founders might have been right, limiting voting rights to male land owners...

Equal voting rights seem like a good idea until you realize that there is no equality in the IQ of the average voter...

Half of America doesn't care about anyone past the end of their own noses, and can't comprehend anything past a week into their futures.

I disagree. Hillary can win the same way Bill won. And there are enough angry Republicans and Conservatives out there to make that a reality. If the election were held now, I'd put money on Hillary. Fortunately the election is not being held now.

>>>Is it just because we now have more fools voting than patriots?

I think it is because not all the voter fraud has been reigned in.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1800101/posts
Attorney firings had genesis in White House (serving at the pleasure of the President)

The White House suggested two years ago that the Justice Department fire all 93 U.S. attorneys, a proposal that eventually resulted in the dismissals of eight prosecutors last year, according to e-mails and internal documents that the administration will provide to Congress today.

The dismissals took place after President Bush told Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales that he had received complaints that some prosecutors had not energetically pursued voter-fraud investigations, according to White House spokeswoman Dana Perino.

Gonzales approved the idea of firing a smaller group of U.S. attorneys shortly after taking office in February 2005. The Gonzales aide in charge of the dismissals — his chief of staff, D. Kyle Sampson — resigned yesterday, officials said, after acknowledging that he did not tell Justice officials about the extent of his communications with the White House, leading them to provide incomplete information to Congress.

Dennis Kucinich, “I say we achieve strength through peace.

I'd say he has that exactly backwards.

GOP popularity and support is at remarkable lows, led with Dubya's sinking approval numbers. The thing is, the democrats don't have to be particularly popular in order to benefit from the GOP doing poorly.

In other words, when people vote against the GOP, they tend to vote for the dems. Right now, I'd say it's more likely than not that a dem will win the 2008 presidential election, and that the GOP numbers in the Senate and House will shrink further.

We are a nation of stupid a$$es. A nice car, a copy of Oprahs “O” magazine, a trip to Nordstroms, dinner is a pre-processed “hot pocket”, an evening with “American Idol”, a news update with the headlines on the NYT or CNN for 30 seconds of brainwashing then off to bed.

Rush, Hannity, Beck appeal to a very small population in the scheme of things. They all make it appear that they’re an influence, but they aren’t. Most that listen are already conservative.

They do, however, serve a purpose. Immigration is a prime example. Bloggers and talk radio made a great team in that respect and that can happen again with just about any atrocity being pushed on us by the Dems.

We are what the special interest libs used to be...small in number, but LOUD as hell! This will be the case in the 2008 election.

While most Americans will be pre-occupied with buying more “bling” and Paris Hilton, conservatives will take time out from their “evil, capitalist” lives and make noise.
Go Fred Go!!
