In the third televised Democratic presidential debate, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.) said she would rather be called a "modern day progressive" than a liberal. Well, I call her a socialist power-mad bee-otch. Wonder how she'd feel about that?

“Someone who believes strongly in individual rights and freedoms, who believes that we are better as a society when we’re working together.”
Contradicts herself in the same sentance. “Working Together” for Hillary means government regulation and guidance.

She said she represents change. She might not know this, but there will be change with or without her. If she represents change, I represent whirled peas.

What she meant was that she progressively works her way up from throwing ashtrays to lamps..

I always considered a progressive to an ultra liberal. In other words progressive is further to the left than liberal. No matter what words you use they are all the same and not good for America.

Progressive? Hell no.
Hillary and her goons are straight up Stalinists.
Obama and Edwards are useful idiots: stupid but dangerous.

Clinton said. "Someone who believes strongly in individual rights and freedoms, who believes that we are better as a society when we're working together."But if I don't want to "work together" (i.e. shared retirement funds, shared healthcare funding, shared education costs), do I still have the "individual rights and freedoms" to go it alone?

They rejected my question: "Ms. Clinton. Did you or your husband have Vince Foster killed?" Now that would have jacked up the ratings.

It’s all a matter of pronunciation. The English language is constantly changing. In years past, “socialist” was pronounced “liberal,” but the hoi polloi have recently taken to pronouncing it “progressive” as a sign of their distinction from earlier socialists. Intelligent observers recognize this as merely an attempt at rebranding.
To: DCJeanGrey
So “progessive” means democratic socialist now? Gee, I’m out of touch.

"I consider myself a modern progressive," Clinton said. "Someone who believes strongly in individual rights and freedoms, who believes that we are better as a society when we're working together." Sometimes it's just amazing how quickly leftists can contradict themselves, and without batting an eye.
