God keep you and your son well, sir. I am certain that true justice will come for those marines. In the end the truth always prevails.

You are a saint to keep your composure, as you did, while speaking with this deceitful and wicked man. I am not certain that I would have maintained my temper as well.

I must wonder about the intelligence of those who vote to vest such a debased individual with the powers of elected office.

I keep our soldiers in my prayers daily. My wife and I will remember your son and his mates in our Rosary.

Parents have an affinity to their children that no other will ever know. In these extraordinary circumstances, there’s something very unique about the parents that are coming to the aid of their children who fought for our Country and now find themselves embattled in political persecution.

Donald Rumsfeld said the war in Iraq would be won or lost in Washington D.C. The U.S. news media is the terrorists’ most potent weapon and amoral politicians like Murtha are their greatest ally.

Again the Congressman used his experience to side step the answer. Mr. Murtha stated his intentions were to point out the stress our military was under in Iraq.

"I'm throwing your son under the bus to score a few points against Bush."

You have my admiration and respect, as well as my profound sorrow for the unnecessary grief you have gone through. I believe you got back some of your own, however, in your polite but assertive conversation. You made Abu-Murtha show that he believes our soldiers are guilty until proven innocent when they kill on the battlefield, something no armed force in the history of mankind has had to deal with. It’s really hard to accept that such a scumbag actually wore the uniform.

You are a much nicer man than I. My son and daughters aren’t old enough to serve, yet. I expect that they will, in some way or other, when the time comes. Expecting that, and having served myself, I’d have ripped the fellow a new rectum over his shameless grandstanding on a subject he apparently knew much less about than he pretended.

We are proud of your son, and his brothers and sisters at arms. We are especially proud of the job they have done under less than desirable conditions. Like having that jerk Murtha lying about them!

Thank you for sharing your conversation with us. John Murtha, once again, exposed himself for the coward he is. He showed AGAIN how he is not willing to give OUR troops the presumption of innocence—even at a TIME OF WAR.
