Yeah I agree - he was an odd distraction from the war (often waging on in the background).

Hey, ol’ Baghdad Bob wasn’t such a bad egg. When everything crashed down around him, he fled and later turned up in Cairo, where it is said that he enjoyed being with beautiful Egyptian women, whom he regarded as the loveliest in the Middle East.
