I dropped that show like a hot rock after the first season. It is the antithesis of an action show. The premise is bas-ackwards in that you take a twenty four hour day and drag it out (with reruns included) to a thirty four week ordeal. It's pitiful to see every moment of a day (excluding eating, sleeping, changing clothes, potty breaks, &c.)dragged slowly before our eyes.
I remember a movie a few years ago that had it right. I'm not sure but I think the movie title was "Real Time". The plot involved kidnapping Joe Sixpack and telling him he had ninety minutes to kill the first lady at an upcoming press conference, or his wife and family would be killed by the kidnappers. The movie of ninety minutes of his life took place in ninety minutes of screen time. It was about the most intense movie I have ever seen. 24 drags badly in comparison.

It’s just a TV show. I enjoy it, but was never under the impression that Sutherland was conservative. His old man is a loon too.
Dennis Miller is a “9/11 conservative”, or, IOW someone who’s socially liberal, fiscally moderate, and pro defense. I enjoy him too, but again, wouldn’t vote for the man for office or anything.
So does this mean all the CTU agents, including Jack are going to drive around in Prius’es? I’m afraid 24 got rather tiresome last year. They should be thinking about ways of renovating the excitement rather than about piling on to the latest envirocraze. The nuclear blast was interesting, it went down hill from there.
No, Keef, it wasn’t me. The dog did it.
Yup. And his Mom, whom he adores, is carrying on her fathers message. Her name is Shirley Douglas. She and Kiefer work on continuing national healthcare. But he lives in LA. LOL
Tommy Douglas was the founder of the social credit party of Canada, which later became the New Democrat party (extreme left) He founded the Canadian health care system beginning in Saskatchewan around 1955-59 or sometime around there
OK, how about calling them cosmic wombats?
Darn, now Rushbo going to have to change his attitude on gw. Hes their top fan.
I haven't listened to Rush in a year but I'll be tuning in Monday to see what he has to say about this.
I think if 24 is to have any future, they have to dump the moonbats and hire someone like, say Ted Nugent to play jack Bauer
I’m guessing he won’t bring it up.
Why haven’t you listened to him for a year?
Another Hollywood dimwit mouths off.
Jack Bauer joins Al Gore in his quest to eliminate manbearpig. It’s super cereal, now.
I remember seeing an interview months ago. Keifer quickly admitted he was a socialist.
“When appropriate, incorporating the issue of global warming and the importance of carbon emission reduction into storylines; “
What are they going to do, coerce confessions by tying the suspect under a stable floor instead of hooking him up to an exhaust pipe on a 1947 Studebaker?
I can’t understand why everyone on the thread is upset. Kiefer has always been a lefty. His only saving grace was he believes in gun ownership.
A day late and a dollar short, dude. This stuff is so yesterday. Haven’t you heard??
Actually that was funny! All you can do is laugh at a man that’s 40 and acts like he’s 10.
The 100% bit is explained a couple sentences down where they decided to rewire the underpowered building they are leasing; biodiesel doesn’t reduceCO2 emissions at all, they just don’t have to count those coming from salad oil.
The 1950s movie western High Noon was done in the same manner.
