Oh Gosh I wish I could be there with you!! I will remember you all in my prayers and fervent wishes for a successful anti-Sheehan foray! Go FReepers!!

Important BUMP!!!
Hey, Leo! This woman and her ilk need straight jackets and well padded rooms. Go man!
How dare these scumbags get near that cemetery for such a nasty purpose?
Oh, I wish I could be there!
I thought she had died and desecrated the cemetery by arranging to be buried there.
I hear you loud and clear. My parents will be there when the time comes.
Anti-war mom Cindy Sheehan gives up her protest

Sheehan: My son “did indeed die for nothing”
She is upset that Democrats and anti-war politicians can’t end Iraq war
She is exhausted by the personal, financial and emotional toll
“I am going to take whatever I have left and go home,” she wrote

I can’t post here anymore because my potential run for Congress
is not on the Democratic ticket.
I have been deeply grateful for all of your support over the years.
Your love and kindness helped me through lots of sleepless nights
at Camp Casey ‘05.
If Speaker Pelosi does her constitutionally mandated duty and I don’t run,
then I can come back and post.
I know a lot of you are hostile towards my candidacy. Please
understand that I am doing it for your children and grandchildren
(and my surviving ones.)
Love always,
Cindy

I’d love to be there, but I can’t. One tactical suggestion... Show up two hours before she and her pacifists zombies are expected.
“The pacifists are at it again. I met a ‘visiting fireman’ of great eminence who told me that this was to be the ‘last war’. I told him that such statements since 2600 B.C. had signed the death warrants of millions of young men. He replied with the stock lie, ‘Oh yes, but things are different now’. My God! Will they never learn?” General George S. Patton
Former US Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) praised Sheehan’s congressional campaign in an instant message with Atlanta Progressive News. “I love Cindy’s passion and her honesty. She made the ultimate sacrifice. She is a force to be reckoned with. And she shows the rest of us the very real power of one,” McKinney said.
Currently, there is a bill in Congress, H Res 333, cosponsored by US Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and 13 others, calling for the impeachment of Vice President of the US Dick Cheney. If H Res 333 is not successful, Sheehan said shell be working on a nationwide impeachment referendum.
Sheehan expressed concern that Atlantas Democratic US Congressman, John Lewis (D-GA), has not signed on. “Tell Lewis hes got to sign on H Res 333 to impeach Cheney,” she said. US Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) is the only Georgia representative to cosponsor the bill so far.

Give War a Chance
by Cindy Sheehan / July 20th, 2007
Being in the deep south has been a very interesting experience.
the neo-Nazi, pro-war fascist group Gathering of Eagles came out to mostly try to intimidate us from our mission. At Ft. Benning, after we complained, the police kept them separate from us, but in Charlotte, the police refused saying that the Eagles had their rights to freedom of speech. But the Eagles freedom of speech has included physical threats against me and actual physical force against kids and women. When the Charlotte police were told this, they said that they couldnt keep them apart from our group until the Eagles actually did something. So I chose to stay away from the rally then go and perhaps cause them to hurt someone else because of my presence. Freedom of speech is one thing, but I dont believe that the First Amendment protects violent speech, especially if it is one of the neocons or their media supporters calling for increased violence in the Middle East. Nothing about our movement promotes or calls for violence and it would be swell if the CPD protected everyones First Amendment rights, not just people whom they agree with. Gold Star Father, Carlos Arredondo, joined us in Charlotte with his display about the personal cost of war which doesnt affect the Gathering of Chickenhawks at all, in fact we believe that they are the ones who disgrace our childrens memories and the memories of the fallen in Vietnam by supporting another Nam like quagmire.

If you are willing to go to jail for justice, you are encouraged to come to Washington to participate in the civil disobedience, or to stage a sit-in at your congress member’s district office, either on the 23rd or another day. Using our new tool, you can pledge to take part only if 20 others do the same: http://www.democrats.com/sit

She made the ultimate sacrifice” Her son yes, Cindy no!
Since Cynthia McKinney is a moonbat, I wouldn’t think too much about anything that nuts says. Most everyone else knows who made the sacrifice!
Not to be crass, but what’s your point?
I’m sorry, but I disagree Ms. Sheehan didn’t make the ultimate sacrifice, her son did when he lost this life in defense of this country. Let’s all remember he went willingly into that dark fight. I for one can not thank him and his Brothers and Sisters in Arms enough for my freedom.
I respect Ms. Sheehan for her beliefs and her drive, but...
“Many soldiers are led to faulty ideas of war by knowing too much about too little.” General George S. Patton
I believe the same can be said about many past, current and future leaders.
I also believe that many are disregarding the lessons of history.
