U.S. general warns against early withdrawal from Iraq
U.S. ambassador warns against early Iraq exit
U.N. chief warns abrupt U.S. troop withdrawal could deepen Iraq crisis
Ummm...actually no; the complaints have fueled calls from the Left for a pullout of American troops
Gee, and I read just last week in the Staten Island Advance (Newhouse newspaper, suitable for wrapping fish or training puppies) that Prime Minister Maliki was claiming that his army and police would be quite up to the task of coping with the security situation, should US troops leave.

LMAO!
"....and when representatives of PM Maliki questioned the Editor in Chief of the Staten Island Advance, his response to charges of blatant misrepresentation and wholecloth fabrication of the Prim Minister's statement was that his paper was merely quoting from trusted sources such as Pravda and The Daily Worker's World, and augmenting that stellar reporting with a firm commitment to describing the nation of Iraq in terms of the greatest respect, which includes a respect for it's ability to fully defend itself."
( I was allowed to pick up and hold a Wombat once at an Australian animal park)
Actually the Wombat reference is from a Monty Python sketch
(10 points to any Freeper who can identify the character!).
As for your last paragraph, is that sourced? because I haven’t seen that anywhere. But I hsould say it wouldn’t surprise me one iota.
Ummm....actually... (cough)... it's source is this particular stoat, who made it up in a poor attempt at humor.
*Facepalms at being so gullible*
But it was a valiant effort....
Thank you for your kind words :-)
