I always thought those things were dangerous for a child to operate.

I imagine everyone who has ever owned one has at least been burned once or twice.

Doesn’t the Easy Bake Oven have wording on the package - ages 8 and above?

Why was a 5 year old using it?

The Easy Bake over always sound more like something Irwin Mainway would sell rather than Hasbro.

They should have included a small child-size oven mitt with each oven.

“Bag o’ Broken Glass” and “Johnny Spaceman” were the best.

I had one of those darn things 40 years ago!

Exactly, and no one thought anything about it until today. I find it amazing that humans have managed to stay alive past the caveman era when kids were chunking rocks at each other, playing with non-vaccined animals, and eating who knows what off the ground.

Made in China. Those SOB’s.

“Ovens sold before May 2006 aren’t included in this recall. The units that are were sold at Toys “R” Us, Wal-Mart, Target, KB Toys and other retailers nationwide from May 2006 through July 2007, for about $25.

They were made in China.”

Once again from a Texas affiliate. Looks like Texas reporters still include facts in their reporting.
