I’m so sorry I missed this!
I’ve been reading that the fence being built is not at all as Duncan Hunter’s Bill said it would be. I’d like to know what he thinks about that and also, what he thinks about Bush asking for volunteers to help build it.

I missed that. When did that happen?
We had volunteers building it well before the security fence act was submitted. It was the Minutemen. They had donations being collected for it. I saw that Duncan Hunter was still working with them.

Bush is looking for volunteers from the Border Patrol. Anyone with experience building fences.
And I think I read somewhere that parts of the fence are just a single ‘heavy duty’ chain link fence. It seems Bush signed Hunter’s bill and then decided he’d just do whatever he wanted.
What galls me is people like Bush, who are frauds pretending to be FOR border security and no amnesty, when just the opposite is true. Cowards ought to just admit what their agenda REALLY is.

The bill calls for DOUBLE layer of fence with a border patrol road in between...with BENCHMARKS (deadlines) that DHS and Cherkoff have not made any attempts to meet.
DHS has built 13 miles of SINGLE layer fence.
