It appears someone has launched a complaint against free dominion with the Canadian Human rights tribunal.

Hi, everyone
Sorry for not getting over here sooner. The past couple of days I've been spending all my spare time answering emails and private messages. But, the good news is that we are being flooded with messages of support and encouragement from conservatives all over North America!
This woman doesn't just want us to remove some posts that she didn't like. She uses Bill Whatcott and some posts in one thread as an example of "discriminatory" posts at Free Dominion.
Make no mistake, her intention is to shut us down.
Now, we do have one advantage in that our server is located in the US. We did that deliberately when we created Free Dominion because we had a hunch that a day like this would come and we wanted the protection of your First Amendment. But, they can still go after us personally, and that appears to be the plan.
A few years ago, a provincial human rights commission went after a man named Scott Brockie because he had a private printing business and he refused to print homosexual literature. The last update I read, his expenses (including his fines) were over $145,000. This is how these people operate.
Anyway, I wanted to drop by and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your support over here. We are going to fight this, and we are going to do it by shining a very bright light on every step of this process.
Thank for helping us do that.
Connie
Greatly appreciate those links- thank you.De nada. :o)

1 - Can it just be a CO-INCIDENCE that your "Human Rights Commission" has the same initials as our "Hillary Rodham Clinton?"
I think NOT! It's the "Mark of the [Hilda]-BEAST!"2 - Would you PLEASE reconsider your aversion to PayPal?

This could be an interesting test case, pitting the explicit right of free speech in the Charter against the state’s ability to regulate speech that it doesn’t like. In the US, this type of law would not withstand scrutiny. But my betting is that our SCC will ultimately re-write the Charter to make the guarantee of free speech a total sham.
The test case happened already in 1990, and Taylor was the guinea pig. The Supreme Court ruled that Section 13 complaints can overrule ones right to freedom of expression. The Supreme Court ruled 4-3 in favour of upholding section 13 as demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society. Chief Justice Dickson ruled that upholding tolerance in a multicultural society superseded ones right to freedom of expression.
I don’t understand how limiting somebodies guaranteed right to freedom of expression and freedom of the press is justifiable in a free society. It’s mind boggling. Why does the Government even have the word “freedom of expression” in our Charter anymore? They should have just removed it in 1990.
Well, several thoughts come to mind.
Does one have to be a resident of Canada to file a complaint?
Clearly, no matter how insane a complaint, it must be "investigated".
I wonder how many investigators they have?
Is it clear where I'm going with this?
What's good for the "Looney"... etc.
...pun intended...
Smatter'fack, he does; it's called the sidebar and I agree, this ongoing assault by the left belongs there.
I was wondering if I could have successfully found it later today. I will try to record it.
By the way, that would be 7:30, what time zone?
Again, thanks- I’ll be reading all day.
God Bless Bill, Connie and Mark who will stand against this tyranny. I stand with them and we all should unless we are willing to hide in fear with what is coming. I agree with the words in this flyer and invite the CHRC to add me to the complaint.

Thanks...its great that this is now side bar material
I don't want to see people turn on Bill for this. If it hadn't been him, it would have been someone else.
Exactly!
Please don't cave, Connie.
Many (including that bigcitylib giving you free advice) would love to scare you into submission.
I know it's not the same, being in Canuckistan and all (is that hate speech?), but you might take comfort in these American threads...
