Ron Paul is involved with the Liberty Caucus and inevitably the “Israel” question comes up.
Bump for historical marker post August 11..
He is Alex Jones’ rock star, lol!
Ron Paul? Isn’t he the soon-to-be ex-Representative from TX-14?
Sheep response.YAWN___________________________________!
yep same guy, ex-Representative from TX-14 when he wins the presidential election.
Very well put - it seems a shame he’s so willing to hand the victory to the al Qaedas and their American rat allies.
One possible scenario is that Dr. Paul stays in the race for many months and will be to Thompson, perhaps, a thorn in the side, the way Keyes was to GWB in 2000. Paul will show how “establishment” Thompson really is and discourage conservatives who think they want Thompson all the more. Or Paul may show how bizarre he has come in this latest political cycle.
“yep same guy, ex-Representative from TX-14 when he wins the presidential election.”
And you said that with a straight face. You’re good. I can’t do irony nearly as well.
2% support is a “Rock Star”?
More a libmedia-driven fantasy...
He’s anti-war, which makes him a god with the Hate-Bush crowd. And I think we ALL know where his recent “Surge” in donations is coming from, don’t we?
don’t call me Shirley
“Surrender monkey” - Now that’s funny. In my opinion, RP has no credibility because of his silly conspiracy theories. It is like these Ron Paul folks are running on energizer batteries. They are constant irritants. We cannot have a day of good posting without an RP nut posting something about their revered “Dr.” You’d think he’d stayed in a Holiday Inn Express or something!
Indeed they are. I'm from a family old Democrats. My parents are still registered Democrat because...well you don't register Republican for love or money. I learned that from my grandfather, and he learned it from his. One of the first in my family to register Republican, I realize the mistake I made and have since changed my affiliation to Independent many years ago. The honest libertarian belief is to return to a Constitutional government, one that can and has limitations on morality at the state level. This is not so different from 'Reagan Democrats' that I know. People are too tied up in their respective parties. When I do bother to vote, it is for a candidate that I know will represent my views at the national level. Not the 'party' view, but my views. Democrats don't do that and, since the good Senator Helms, Republicans rarely do.
So I find myself many times voting for the independent candidate or if no one represents my views closely enough not at all.
If everyone in America valued the Constitution and its limits on federal government as much as Ron Paul, this country would be a much better place.
Its Shirley not Frank. Anyway Ron Paul simply fails to understand who wants to kill us and why its important to fight them in their house instead of ours.
I’m thinking that a redeployment to Tehran or Damascus might be in our immediate future.
My younger sister has suddenly turned into a Ron Paul fanatic with bumper stickers all over her car. The fact that she is also involved with Code Pink in some way should tell you something about Ron Paul, or at least tell you something about some (though not all)of his followers.
I know what it tells me. He's an popular candidate that can draw from all facets of society instead of a shrinking handful whose only concern, even above limited government, is to continue Wilsonian adventurism. Republicans can continue with the folly of police action if they want. However it's a cause that should never have began and frankly won't win them any elections if they continue pushing it.
Defend the nation yes, and Rep. Paul is all for that. However don't continue 'nation building'.
Seemed a wacko to me who might be a prime example of someone who needs to be managed with medications.
Being it seems Libertarians LIKE medications, Ron Paul seems made for his rants.
Crazy stuff, he’s an embarrassment to conservatives, but he does make good theater for a short time.
