Setting the moal issues aside, homosexuality bothers me because I can’t show affection to other guys without being concerned that I might be thought to be gay. I can’t show affection to women because it ticks off my wife. What’s left? The homos and their sympathizers have screwed up normal displays of affection between men. In my book, that is plenty of reason to hate them.

Any time the homosexual community claims something to be true - I know to believe the opposite. Remember when they used to say there was no connection between AIDS and GAY? Well in the US, gays make up about 1.5% yet are 85% of the AIDS cases. So in other words they totally lied. Same with pedophiles. Gays constantly insist they aren’t child predators. Again, they are 1.5% of the population yet account for 37% of the pedophile cases - that is astounding. In other words, homosexuals ARE at much higher incidence of being pedophiles per capita. They are the people of the LIE, that is the only thing they are consistent on.

I don't hate homosexuals at all. As a matter of fact, some of the people I love are homosexuals. Love the sinner, hate the sin.

This is the perfect response. I try (not always successfully) to remember this as I move through my days. Thank you for a well timed reminder.

There are people who live their entire mental lives on the level of sound-bites and talking-points, and never pause to focus on any reality. I suspect that few reporters have really thought for ten consecutive seconds about WHY people can be so messed up for years after having been abused. It’s because they were sodomized! They simply refuse to look at the fact that being sodomized IS the cause of suffering. Rather, reporters and pundits hear “Catholic priest” and “sex” and think—hypocrisy! something to bash the Church with! The suffering of the victims is just “suffering,” handy to exploit as another stick with which to beat the Church. Or to use in corny headlines like “Suffer the little children...”

Setting aside involuntary sex, and AIDS and other STD’s, and the leftism, and the many other consequences of sodomy: The most deeply persuasive argument against it is that it’s destructive even to the people who engage in it, even voluntarily. And it’s destructive of the personality, each and every time, not just if you catch something, or get dumped, or get beat up. All those are side issues. There’s always supposed to be a “fix” for disease, or romantic turmoil, or homophobia. Fix all those “problems,” and the fact will remain that the human personality—even when same-sex attractions are present—is not nurtured and strenthened and developed by same-sex sex.

Interracial couples can pass their genes to the next generation. In fact, there’s good evidence that their children may be healthier than people of more similar genetic origin. It used to be called ‘hybrid vigor’ in the less PC days.

Homosexuals can’t pass their genes on naturally. If there is a gay gene, it makes me believe that being naturally homosexual (as opposed to those who decide to be gay) would be a very good way to prevent that person’s genes from entering the gene pool. Perhaps, then, being born gay is a way to prevent certain individuals from passing their genes on.
So, interracial marriage can be seen as natural, and normal, resulting in the success of the species, while being gay can be viewed as a genetic off-ramp. There’s no comparison between the two. I’m with you.

Um...and how much did those movies cost to make and market?

I swear, this is the first time anyone has told me that 135M+ in profits were just no big deal. ROI baby, ROI.

Whenever subjects of sex are mentioned, often you can highlight the writer's real agenda by substituting defecation for sex in what they wrote:

.

"Psychologist Jonathan Haidt wants to help liberal types like me understand why some people condemn bowel movements as immoral...But why do so many people think pooping is disgusting? I never had any problem with it.

University of Pennsylvania psychologist and disgust expert Paul Rozin says it's particularly a guy thing - most heterosexual men are disgusted by the thought of touching feces.

Rozin recalls experiments in which researchers asked subjects how disgusted they'd be if a Q-tip that had been in the anus of either a man or a woman was subsequently touched to their own various orifices.

Women didn't care much whether the swab had touched the anus of a man or a woman. But it mattered to men, who - surprise! - were not at all disgusted by the Q-tip that touched a woman but totally grossed out if they thought it had touched another guy's anus.

Isn't it kind of babyish to declare pooping immoral because you think that pooping is icky?"

"ROI baby, ROI."

The Passion of the Christ

Cost to produce 25 million

Domestic: $370,782,930
+ Foreign: $241,116,490
= Worldwide: $611,899,420

ROI = Big, BIG, BIG

The Passion was a much more marketable movie than Brokeback, and you didn't have to feel icky while producing it or watching it.

Yep. If my cousins are hungry or cold, i’ll take them into my home and I would do the same with their partners but I won’t accept the behavior in my home.

Are you trying to say that guys are naturally disgusted by unnatural acts that go against the designs of nature?

What fuels the hatred of homosexuality?

Uh, being brutally f---ed in the an-l sphinter is painful and non-productive?

I'll take it from former homosexuals on the first account...
and accept the metaphysiccal certitude on the later...

And I say this with a lot of "liberal tolerance" as I spent one
summer in my undergraduate years working with the president of
a gay-alliance group from an Ivy League university.
A great co-worker...but a fellow that was obsessed about S-E-X,
especially when it had to do with an-al orifices.

I don't like the idea of homosexual activity because it it against Nature and the Natural Law. It is also the epitome of narcissim. If folks want to engage in it, that's their business, but when they agitate to force society to 'approve' it, that's MY business, because that affects how the rest of us live.

Homosexual activists in MA have been claiming, for the last few years, that just because they're given the right to 'marry' by the Supreme Judicial Court, that nothing else would change for everyone else. They lied. They had been planning all along to start teaching homosexuality as an acceptable lifestyle choice to kids from Kindergarten on up. They've begun suing businesses that don't want to have anything to do with their 'weddings' to force them to participate.

Because of the decision, Catholic Charities was forced out of the adoption business in the State because homosexuals, supported by the courts, proclaimed that THEY should be allowed to adopt and that the Church didn't have the right to say they can't adopt through the agency run by the Church. So because of the selfishness of maybe 1/4 of 1% of the people in this state, there will be a lot of couples who will not be able to adopt a child, and those children won't have families willing to take them in.
