These are probably Chaldean Catholics who are fleeing persecution in Iraq.

None appeared on terrorist watch lists, and they told authorities they were Chaldean Christians trying to get to California were they would request asylum, an immigration official said.

Some may be legit asylum seekers but this has been going on for a lot longer than a year and the only real question is not if any are but how many are terrorist cell members.

When these guys strike I will be one cranky American, it being a I-told-you-so situation. If the US Government responds to such a terrorest strike in the usual manor with more airport "security," more proposed gun bans "for our safety" more restrictions of the rights of American Citizens I am going to be one v-e-r-y pizzed off American.

It’s about time Americans went to Universal Open Carry. We are going to need it.

To hell with the safety Nazis. Safety is not freedom or winning.

You are right...there have been reports of Christians seeking to escape the Muslim terror and of course being Christian they cannot get refugee asylum...we only allow in insane Somali muslims legally!

About 2 million Iraqis have fled Iraq since the invasion. Unfortunately most of these are the better educated, etc. which leaves those who don’t have the money or attributes to kickstart the economy unless they are with the underworld, the back-alley business sector.

Are you seriously suggesting this? As someone currently living on the Mexican side of the border (but an American citizen) I can tell you that Chaldeans are not the problem. If they are experiencing bona fide persecution then they can petition for legal entry. Sins problemas. This is infiltration of enemies who pay the coyotes more than fellow Mexicans. The FBI would not be worried about Chaldean Christians. This is a war, not a religious matter.

That was the first thought that crossed my mind.

Detroit has a huge Chaldean population and many of them have told me some of the horror stories that Catholic Arabs face from the muslims.
