In fact, the flags are still flying like that in Montebello!
You’re joking?... I hope.
“He sure clammed up in a hury huh?”
Not so... I just have a real life that includes working for a living, so I do not spend all my time on the internet.
I am a CAD draftsman... I stare at a doggone CRT screen all day long, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is sit in front of the computer for several more hours!
“Their government funding should be cut until they learn from whose hand they feed.”
Were it true, I would sing praise to heaven, but, alas... I believe our turncoat government would like to help them bury this republic under the globalist NWO.
“Welcome to freerepublic.”
Thanks, glad to be here.

I’m sorry, I don’t speak “internet” too well. Please explain.
THANK YOU ‘PUBLIC EDUCATION’ FOR DESTROYING MY COUNTRY!!! As to the Washington D.C. dimwits featured in your photo essay... Well, let’s just say I wish them a “nice day,” compliments of the USMC.
As for the clowns who want to reengage the United States for the Texas territory... BRING IT ON. My rifle is clean, my powder is dry, and my aim is accurate: One shot, One Kill at the Sniper Bar & Grill.
Yeah thanks... I am a loyal member of Numbers USA too... and I think I may have personally burned up the FAX machines of Chuck Hagel and Ben Nelson... BWAH-HAW-HAW-HAW... YES!!!!
Hey, you live in Palm Beach County? I used to live in Broward... Pembroke Pines, just east of Flamingo Road (1986-89) until Frank @#$%* Lorenzo sent EAL to that great big silver hanger in the sky.
He don’t like Kitties???!!!
Well; not only have you been responding you have shown good manners.
Do a search on the keywords “Zot” and “Troll.” The Kitty question will become crystal clear.
And again, welcome to FR!
Hey Griz...why are you toying with RTO? Some newbies actually might want to be a FReeper and thus they are not to be used as target practice.
Some of you zotters are a little too trigger happy.
Used to live there; got out. We also lived in Broward...about two exits up from Flamingo in Weston. Only there 7 mos. — blech.
So...were you a L or R seater or am I guessing wrong altogether?
I like kitties...not the animal ones though.
Not at all!
When he first posted the old article, after being registered four days, and not sticking around a lot of us were suspicious.
But he came back and has been responding. My welcome was genuine. He asked about the Kitty question so I suggested he search the Zot and Troll threads. He might get a good laugh.
I also courtesied some others who were suspicious. I figured it would let them know he wasn’t trolling.
Skay now?
I watched the LZ “Viking Kitty” video... That’s a riot. Better still was the 45 ACP pointing at the kitten with his paws raised to the sky... Priceless. So, then “kitties” is a reference to flaming fur-ball-brained liberals?
“So...were you a L or R seater or am I guessing wrong altogether?”
One moment please... Poster is in middle of cerebral hemorrhage... OK, what the heck are you asking me? This better not be some homo joke!
Lol! Okay, I have to have guessed wrong, or you would have answered me.
EAL...did you work for them?
So, then kitties is a reference to flaming fur-ball-brained liberals?
A “Troll” is someone who comes on FR and posts questionable material soon after registering.
“Zot” means Zapped Off Thread. That’s what happens to trolls. Usually the person’s account is suspended.
Any more questions?
Thank you for explaining. Carry on :)

Do I get a cookie?
;-)
Yes, I have my A&P. I first worked 6 years for PWA in East Hartford CT. Then I went to work for EAL because Pratt’s payscale was the pitts.
I was a Teardown mechanic at EAL for 3 months in the engine shop on 36th Street in Miami. I came in with four other men, and we worked our butts off. The Union guys were getting angry because we would tear down the same number of modules in one day that they did in one week. Anyway, our 90 days was not yet upon us, when some painters, who were about to get laid-off, got transfered to our department. We were going to be out the door, and the Shop Steward could not have cared less. Our foreman went to bat for us, and got all four of us a lateral transfer to the ASC (Aircraft Service Center) where we were doing c and D checks on DC9, B727, B757, L1011, and the A300
... Light just went off: L or R seater... pilot co-pilot, duh. Spent most of my time in the third seat... flight engineer.
Anyway, we all kept our jobs until Flaming Frank drove EAL into the trash heap. That was the only time I ever sided with a union, and walked a picket line for 6 months. Could not find work to save my life.
Finally got my butt to East Granby CT, and worked as an overhaul mechanic for 9 years with Gas Turbine Corp. They got bought by Greenwhich Air Services (formerly Batch Air in Miami). Then GE bought out GAS and promptly shut us down.
After that, I worked as a line mechanic on cargo transports at BDL in Windsor Locks a few years for a private contractor. The guy was dishonest and a hothead, so I quit.
Finally, I did 3 years with Shuttle America as a maintenance controller—that is what I was doing the morning of September 11, 2001... locked in a control room... no TV, no radio, and the internet jammed solid. 9/11 was the end of my aviation career. I went into construction, got certified to do CAD, and now I design homes in Nebraska.
I gotta sign off... My wife, SWMBO, wants to check her e-mail... I’ll be back...
