” Sorry to go off topic here for a minute...but you know how everyone hammers President Bush about his “mision accomplished” banner...you know the one that WASN’T his doing?

I was sitting at the old U.S. Embassy in Mogadishu, Somalia in May 1993 with soldiers from 1st Brigade 10th Mountain Division when President came strolling out on the South Lawn with Marine General Hoar and a bunch of Marines and declared “Mission accomplished good job” talking about Somalia.

I wonder why the media never seems to remember that little nugget? “

Not off topic at all. If we forget the dual standard, we lose to their tactic.

Billy Boy could do no wrong. After all, if the president can never be accountable for his actions, doesn’t that make it ok
for the rest to never feel guilty.

That’s what the libs are after................

I wonder if Juan realizes that working with China and Japan made more sense than using bill Richardons and Jimmy Carter?

We are getting so many confusing statements from the same party I have difficulty in keeping up with it.

On one hand the PM says he wants his traditional power to go to parliament (our legislative branch) on certain issues, and on other issues the cabinet decide (our administration) then he issues statements on policy without advising parliament or consulting his cabinet.

I am convinced he is a little unbalanced and does not realise that his actions are being totally inconsistent with his words or thinks he is being very clever and that people will not connect the dots and only hear the spin.

He appoints people to his cabinet who have been critics of the Iraq war then makes statements about staying the course. He seems to be hedging his bets so that he can jump either way dependent upon what is expedient at the time.

Some of the military talk about current level for at least another 6 - 8 months then gradual draw down but in their opinion there may well be a skeleton presence for the next 10 years.

We have recently had some form of Iraq commission and their conclusion was that when our mission is done ie the training of the Iraqi troops is complete and they can defend themselves we should go. They are adamant that no time-line should be stated ie date of withdrawal because that would only embolden the insurgents. Whilst there is a lot I did not agree with on this report which was shown on Channel 4 over the weekend that part I do agree with but my only question on this who determines they are trained the Iraqis or our politicians?

Problem is there is a lot more at stake this time, left unchecked wackmennenjob will nuke Tel Aviv in a heartbeat, what then?

Democrats would pass a resolution condemning them and turn it over to the Justice Department to prosecute them.

I’d give anything to be asked on one of these shows to debate a Democrat. But something tells me I’d only get asked on one time and never again.

I am in awe of your self-discipline. I fear I could not control myself if I even got one of these clowns faced to face. The urge to first laugh in their face when they bring out their latest focus group tested slogans, then point out just how they are lying both to themselves, and the American people, would be overwhelming. The simple fact is we do NOT have any great intellects in American politics. They are a circle of empty headed fools. Politicians like Biden, or Graham, posture as "Intellectuals" but they are, in fact, very superficial, surface thinkers.

The Tet Offensive was not reported except by Cronkite. The difference now is the internet and talk radio. If you think President Bush’ numbers are down look at the Stone Age Press’.

The news is getting out that The Surge is Working and after the report comes out there will be a renewed sense of hope over there. Rimadi was an Al Queda stronghold and now it is perfectly safe.

This Victory will be the demise of PravdABDNC and their soldiers in Al Queda. Pedreus is payback for Nam.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Gateway is just loaded with great stuff. I especially liked the maps showing progress in Iraq, very striking!

No wonder the dems are so in a huff about getting out of Iraq they see we are winning and it means political annihilation for them if it keeps up.

Discussing NK on FNC and Juan says well credit needs to go to China and Japan for this; LOL. Barely gives credit to the Bush admin for the shut down (if it really is shut down) of the Nuke Plant in NK.

This from the same Juan who, along with the rest of the PC Media, ranted and raved how Bush was blowing it by insisting on multilateral talks with NK instead of the one on one talks all the various Leftist insisted were the ONLY possible solution?

So either way the PC media try to spin it, this is yet another Bush victory.

Here is their worst nightmare. Since the Surge has shown progress, President Bush is being looked at more favorably.

What happens when the report shows concrete improvement and a road to a working Democracy in Iraq? His numbers could go through the roof and the Donks are left with only their hatred.

Pray for W and Marine Justin Meyer
