Secretary Gates and General Pace held a separate conference later at the Pentagon.

Ohhhhh, isn’t he adorable? Whining for his parents. They are so pitiful when sick. I’m sooo glad he ate for you. That will help him gain strength. I’m sure he must miss Rocky, don’t you?

When my EmmaRose was so sick with congestive heart failure, the vet said she probably wouldn’t make it thru the night. Hit me like a ton of bricks. We immediately went to prayer for her. 3 days later, she was home with us and is doing well.

They are just so small and pitiful.

I’m 575 pages into the Reagan Diaries kept during his Presidency. He went through so many similar things that our George is facing, it’s like deja vue and also gets my blood boiling. The Dems were a piece of work then as now.

The telephone survey of 1,004 adults was conducted July 9-11 in English and Spanish by Ipsos, an international public opinion research company. The margin of sampling error was plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Yep, Rocky was going through it too. I would sit with him for a few minutes (the time it would take to read a bedtime story to a real kid) and then go upstairs. About an hour later, he would let out these little barks from downstairs in his bed. Hubby came up with the greatest idea....Kelly! Kelly is our 4 1/2 year old Dachshund. She and James sleep upstairs with us. We didn't want the puppies to learn that's where you sleep--we'd like our bed back ;-) So...Candy Striper Kelly came to the rescue and kept Rocky company. We FINALLY got some sleep.

Good for you with your prayers and love...LOTS can be accomplished....LOTS. There's much the medical profession just isn't ready to come to grips with yet.

Oh yes! Definitely bleed purple... ...although, I'm retired from being a SUPER fan ever since Cris Carter retired. Now, I'm just an everyday fan.

Thanks, Snugs! Since you posted the photos, I was able to find the video. I looked last night but couldn't find it (because I couldn't remember the occasion). I am so glad you posted these photos. It is amazing that GWB got bashed for this--it is so obvious that he was just having fun with Gen Pace!
