Hi ya purple
Maybe we don’t get to see him laugh like that, but he does lots of laughing...that’s his nature. ;o)
Thanks...uplifting reports. It’s hard to find them...but they.re out there...the lamestream media hids the truth...lots of uplifting these taking place.
Hi Ya, in return S/E!
& T Y both for all the daily stuff You do for us!!
You know what stuff.
:)
I agree but politically and in many ways with a lot of the issues he is addressing it is not often that it is seemly that he should laugh like that in public.
Thanks for your kind thoughts (and thanks SO much for your lovely card I just found today in a stack of mail that was put in a “safe place” when I got home from rehab.. ;)
Still praying and thinking about my Mom. She got upgraded to the rehab unit today .. I’m hoping getting active helps with the pneumonia and a bit of disorientation.
Thanks for the Dose, Jonny! I appreciate your work. :)
Good night Eleanor & Your Dad!!
...who chose not to retire and leave the troops during a war. I am so proud of his courage and wish things could have been done differently.
Shield, did you ever see the video of him pouring coffee for Mrs. Bush and not asking GWB if he wanted any and then GWB gets up to get his own? It is so cute!! Gen Pace was embarrassed and everyone was really laughing.
No I didn’t. How cute...General Pace was being a perfect gentleman to Mrs. Bush, as our military men are. I can imagine how embarrassed he was. General Pace an outstanding man. It’s total bs the way he was treated by the chicken chits in congress.
GQ George! VERY nice ;-)
NordP
Me too!
Evening snugs and purple. TGIF.
Thanks for the DOSE Jonny!
Hi Nordic Viking. Update on Rex?
We got to visit him today. He's doing very well. They brought him out to us in a sweet little baby blanket. He had little capped off tubes in his hand so they could hook him back up to fluids, etc. upon his return. They wanted him to eat, as he wasn't very interested. We stopped at the store on the way and brought them a can of low sodium, no protein, low fat Chicken Broth, to put on any dry food they may want to give him. He only liked the taste of chicken and turkey (both he shouldn't have because he's on such a low protein diet because of this shunt). They gave us beef baby food in a jar, and he ate and ate and ate....it was so great. The nurse said, "They often eat for their parents." It was so cute. Then, we snuggled with him for a while, and she showed us his stitches, put his little cone back on, and put a new fleece blanket in his cage. Incidentally, he's in the cat section, as that was less distracting for him. All the activity in the dog area wasn't allowing him the sleep he needed. How nice of them.
Bottom line, after they have him for the four days or so and he's got good levels on all his tests, they'll let him go home. They HAVE to watch for seizures right now, and a seizure could materialize up to four days after surgery and yet Rex could be fine before that. If we were so far away from the hospital---even around the block--he might be lost.
He was so cute and was whining for us...it was breaking my heart.
Thanks again for asking, SCB.
Got to put the “kids” to bed...bye for tonight.
