Folks might be tempted to equate this Hasidic community with Muslim communities that also don’t want to integrate into the countries in which they settle. I’d say the biggest difference is that the Hasidic Jews don’t preach death to those who do not agree, and don’t actively try to KILL those who do not accept their religion.
I wonder though whether they practice discrimination against others as fully as others discriminate against them. A minimal level of assimilation is protective.
