I did NOT denounce Reagan. I have stated twice now that Reagan is my favorite President and why.
I simply pointed out that he was not some far right-wing God with no liberal leanings, since people tend to remember what they want, instead of what was.
People compare Thompson to Reagan for all the right reasons. They are far more similar than different. Thompson’s primary advisors are all old Reagan folks. Reagan was no more conservative than Thompson, not as conservative on a few social issues.
You need to read more and show your ass less.

You have an extremely cynical attitute about your elected representatives. It’s true that there are quite a few corrupt politicians. However, there are still some that are genuine public servants. The politicians who want to get rich leave congress and start earning the big bucks lobbying there former colleages. Duncan Hunter did not do this. Instead, he has quietly worked for years fighting for the issues that matter. So, unless you have specific allegations don’t criticise his years of dedicated service to this country.
Yes, it is too bad that we can’t all be paranoid conspiracy theorists posting wild eyed ignorant theories on message boards. If my antics are juvenile, which they admittedly are, yours are adolescent at best.
My standards and principles are based on morals; my facts are based on what I’ve read in black and white, coming out of the Council on Foreign Relations, documents posted at the conservative website Eagle Forum, at the www.stopthenau.org
and a host of other places, including what I’ve read coming out of this Administration, found at this government’s website.
