Being a moderate conservative is not such a bad thing. Bush is isn’t he? And it could be argued Ronald Reagan was one. I like Bush, but I can’t stand his policy’s on either education or the border. The Federal Government should keep their nose out of certain things. But when it really counts, like in national security, I am all for it. The Democrats are too good at trying to make the Federal Government bigger, they don’t need any help. As a matter of a fact, instead of competeing with them on that issue, I feel it is the Republican Responsibility to expose the Democrats. Reagan did a great job of it, that’s why they HATED his guts, even till this day.

I like the way Fred conducts himself, I like the way he communicates, it is a good contrast to the phony Hillary Clinton who lies through her teeth and is as disingenuous as they come. I think the contrast would make it really a good fight, and we need someone who looks like they can fight. The problem with Mitt, he looks nice, but he doesn't look like he can fight and that goes for Rudy too. Neither guy is real enough or tough enough to take on the evil dike without a conscience.

You remind me about how those full-of-it Democrats would complain because Regan would take an afternoon nap, yet they seemed to have no problem with Bill playing doctor under the desk in the Oval Office. Personally, I admired Reagan for taking his nap, don’t ask me why, cause I don’t know, I just know it made me like him even more.

Remember how they used to try to scare us about Reagan? I think some of that might be going on now. It’s funny how the Democrats react to certain people with real potential, they bitch and moan about it years later. As a matter of a fact, the whole Bill and Hillary Presidency is partly about taking revenge on the America who had the nerve to vote for someone like Reagan in the first place. We should never forget it, it’s like witnessing the ultimate war between good and evil and we need to keep that perspective. We need a candidate who realizes that and who refuses to play by the Clinton handbook, someone who is actually willing to call them on their boloney.

We don’t shoot the messenger......now as for the author of the article, he’s fair game.

Wouldn't it say more for your cause, if you could answer the specific citations that he makes to what are public records? I want to give Thompson the benefit of any doubts, because he is a friend of Paul Harvey, but the writer makes some very strong points.

To be fair, via full disclosure, I have already announced my choice: Ron Paul Endorsement.

With all the talk about Mitt being Mormon, is Fred a Christian? I think that is a fair question. We know that Rudy is a Catholic in name only. This next election is going to be real interesting. I haven’t heard anything about McCain’s religon.

Funny, you forgot to list that "Paul" guy.

I wouldn’t vote for Thompson on a bet. He is a gun grabber in disguise.
