Muslim juror ‘listened to iPod under hijab’

A woman juror has been arrested after she was allegedly caught listening to an MP3 player hidden beneath her hijab during a murder trial. The Muslim woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of concealing the device beneath her headscarf so that she could listen to music during the testimony of a man who bludgeoned his disabled wife to death. Only in terminally PC Great Britain...

Sounds like another good reason for Western culture to insist on limits to dress codes under many circumstances.

How would you like to face your accuser in court, not knowing if it's Rosie O'Donnel or Michael Moore under the costume?

A hijab is still too revealing. I've always thought that it would be easy to sneak a beer if wearing a burqa. That, plus they hide a gut and you could leave the house without even bothering to wear clothes underneath.

Perfect clothing for a dude.

Well, you have to have some sympathy for her because under Sharia, she as a woman, wouldn’t be allowed to sit on any jury. So you can understand if she doesn’t take the duties of a juror under Western law seriously.

And, under Sharia, if she were a witness to a crime, there would need to be two female witnesses to equal the testimony of one man. And different verdicts would be rendered if the guilty were a Muslim or non-Muslim and whether he perpetrated the crime against a fellow Muslim.

It’s such a wonderful system, Sharia, I can’t wait until its accepted in Europe.

The Muslim woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons...

Oops! Someone forgot to tell the Daily Mail that. They not only named her, they printed her photo too.
