Sgt. John P. Skehan, Marine Wing Communication Squadron 18 generator mechanic and Ashburnham, Mass., native, instructs Lance Cpl. Eder F. Orozco, MWCS-18 supply clerk, on how to properly tape a safety perimeter around the squadron's generators. The generators provide power for Marine Aircraft Group 12, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade's air combat element during Exercise Talisman Saber 2007. The exercise is designed to maintain a high level of interoperability between 3rd MEB and Australian forces. The brigade is composed of an infantry regimental landing team, composite air group, and a logistics regiment. These capabilities allow the brigade to project force as a scaleable and versatile Marine Air Ground Task Force. (Released) Photo by: Sgt. Edward R. Guevara Jr.
HAQLANIYAH, Iraq Lance Cpl. Mark T. Russell, team leader, 2nd squad, 3rd platoon, Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, conducts a contact patrol through Haqlaniyah. During the patrol, the Marines spoke with many locals about ways to make the city safer. Photo by: Cpl. Rick Nelson
