A beautiful photo of a spectacular moonset, with night on the left and full daylight on the right, taken by a crewmember aboard the International Space Station on 11 May 2003 (20:03:04 UTC) while over Russia. The moon "floating" inside Earth's atmosphere is an impressive illusion. Via photo 61 at http://ChamorroBible.org/gpw/gpw-200702.htm

Mine too. How could anyone get tired of looking at sites like that? And to think it only takes three days to get there and three days back. What a ride that must have been, and will be again.

I just loaded the 3030x2000 file. Any idea what/why the vertical ‘time exposure’ streaks downward from the brighter stars???

Bottom right and then directly left of the smudge: Is that a rocket launch in progress? Better visibility on the
3030 x 2000 photo.

Could this actually be a moonrise, the spacecraft looking east? The blue star next to the moon is Sirius. The red star to the left is Betelgeuse and Rigel to its right (part of the constellation of Orion) and Canopus over to the right?

I have a an old NASA publication from 1979, A NEW SUN The Solar Results From Skylab, and I always remembered a moonset sequence ( page 43 ) which shows extreme distortion of the moon's apparent disk.
Sure enough, when I looked for ISS photos of a moonset at SEARCH NTRS , I found these, which are far more impressive, and much more in line with the Skylab book than the posted photo:
( ISS007-E-5379 is there too, but I have to say it seems inconsonant with the other examples, of which there are many more. )
