You got that right. The guy is a friggin’ Land Whale. I recall a comment I saw here at FR which stated something about the size of the “carbon footprint” Gore leaves in the toilet every day. LOL! I am not sure how old he is, but I am 54, get around in a wheelchair (paraplegic) and I went from 230 pounds to 160 pounds in a year, with little sacrifice and no real intense exercise and have not gained any of it back. Just cut out junk food and soda. Like most obese people he is as fat as he wants to be.
Algore wrote a check to himself that purchased “carbon credit” dispensation for his global warming sins. So he’s okay.
He’ll sell you some divine dispensation too if you like.

I’m sure he flew a private jet to the Earth Aid concert and was picked up in a limo. What a hypocrite he would expect the rest of us to walk or take the bus, give up air conditioning and wipe our butts with one square of toilet paper, while he uses more electricity in a month than the average home does in a year, drives gas guzzlers and flies in private jets. Ditto for the likes of Madonna and the other celebs preaching to us about global warming.
And it will take 20 years for the saplings to grow to maturity. So the carbon offset "pay back" does not stop the next Great GoreBull Flood?
Actually, I suspect the Secret Service Agents will be running along Al, who, along with his Peace Prize and Oscar, will be borne along in a child carrier pulled by a cyclist.
