Conflict makes for a great story but the MSM’s first priority is to protect the Dem’s image.

I have e-mailed Fox about the lib lies that go with no response. Of course, I have not gotten an answer, nor have I seen any change.

I think in Britain their agenda is to project the left wing message but not by backing a party just by the way they report a story.

The parties and the politicians are treated similar by the MSM on the whole pretty disgustingly but on the other hand their antics to do help. If they had remained above suspicion then the press or TV would not have the ammunition to use or embellish.

I think the fact that there is no credible third party over here makes it difficult for the MSM to ever get too critical of the Dems.

Fox 2003 is very different & honest than Fox 2007. Just an example which would not have happened then - A Jordonian Muslim doctor caught Red-handed in a terrorist act. What Fox did - they despatched reporter Rina Ninan to Jordon to get an "exclusive from his father" (repeated several times) saying that his son is an angel and would never do that.

Another - have you seen lately research stories about Obama or Hillary Clinton appearing elsewhere? Do you know that Brit Hume's "research assistant" is a democrat and donated several times to Herald Ford?

Just today, on F&F they were celebrating Cindy Sheehan's b.day. They almost ignored Prez.Bush's birthday 2 days ago. There is more, but enough for now.

You are probably right though I cannot stand the Liberal Party at least if the Labour Party has a juicy scandal the press will report it and probably at the same time do something favourable on the Lib Dems so as not to boost the Conservative Party.

Also as far as the newspapers are concerned we have 3 major dailies that back the Conservative Party and one (The Sun) that only since Blair has backed the Labour Party often that is the paper that determines IMHO the result of the general election. It will be interesting now with Brown as leader whether they will jump ship again and support the Conservatives at the next election.

I think the fact that there is no credible third party over here makes it difficult for the MSM to ever get too critical of the Dems.

Be thankful for that. If there was a 'credible' third-party... a RINO party for instance... the Republican party would be vilified as the right-wing, death-squad party.

I have noticed that Brit’s weekday show does about five minutes on Hillary every night. I have the sound muted, so I can’t comment on their audio report, but it looks like an “in kind contribution” to me.

I believe that Rupert Murdoch is backing Hillary.

Those who are in/near CT - would you please take a stand and would the rest of you spread the word? Thanks.

Time to take a stand. See post #26 for Ground Zero contacts...no pun intended. Convention & Visitor Bureaus are among the biggest PR organs of major cities and they depend on tourism. If we will acknowledge the rightous indignation—and summon the moral courage, we can make an enormous difference. Will YOU make a phone call? Will YOU change vacation plans? Will YOU stand and say “You have crossed a line and you will not receive my discretionary dollars?!?”

I believe that Rupert Murdoch is backing Hillary.

I think that 85% of Fox anchors & employees backing Hillary is dangerous than Murdoch's backing Hillary.

Hannity’s America always has a segment - hillary’s Chronicles (or something like that) that always points out the hypocrisy and hype.

###### MSM mum on al Qaeda Atrocities! -> Because that might help Bush..

This really is one of the most egregious of the many many sins of the current crop of pseudo-Journalists running the US Politically Corrupt media.

The mere rumor that 8 Terrorists were executed by Marines in Fallugha has been repeated a number of times this week by the PC media as "fact" meanwhile real atrocities by Al Qeda go unreported.

Unbelievably despicable that so called "Journalists" in Europe and the USA can allow their partisan political bigotry to totally so overcome their duty as "Journalists" that they are willing to cover up what these Al Qeda scum are doing in Iraq.

It is soooo pleasant not to see Chris Wallace this morning and to have Brit Hume instead.

Chris Van Hollen, however, is making me sick.

It was nice to see Brit at the helm this week; he is so much better than Wallace; although Wallace isn’t so bad all the time, its just that Brit is always Great. He is the best there is, bar none, on any channel. Wallace should go to CBS and replace Katie — he may have learned some balance at FNC and can bring that to one of the national media outlet.

The only change I have seen is that the trend gets worse. As long as Fox News thinks they have the conservative audience wrapped up, we should expect this to continue.

The alternative would require that one of the other media outlets decides to compete for the conservative or balanced audience instead of the current liberal outlook. Since TV is a profit thing, I am surprised nobody picked up on this. After all, look how everybody grabbed onto Reality TV shows.
